Peri appointment on Friday for Doppler, fluid, BPP and NST

 

NST this afternoon, ob appt tuesday and another NST on thursday.

hoping they pass so i don't have to do the bpps

I have my first growth u/s today and get to see what they are!! I hope they cooperate. Then see my OB after the u/s and a progesterone injection on Thurs

 

I had an ultrasound today (finally!) to determine if the babies are mo/mo or what.

Ultrasound was great! Babies both look good, the tech found a thin membrane separating them but only one placenta so monochorionic/diamniotic. And likely identical according to the ultrasound tech. Baby A was 5 oz. and Baby B was 7oz., both heartbeats 153 bpm. It was so reassuring to see them again!

 

YaY and fingers crossed for good appointments!! :clapping:

Today was our 26w3d growth ultrasound. Cervix is good. Fluid good. Growth is good.

Baby A = 1 lbs. 15ozs. and Baby B = 2 lbs. 3ozs.

Baby A is vertex, ultra lodged in my very, very, very low pelvic region...pushing on spine and all other exquisitely sensitive areas to the left...I am to stay off my feet as much as possible [without being considered 'on bedrest']. Baby B is breech and jack-knifed on the right side of my abdomen.

All I can think of is how fortunate we will be to enter the third trimester. They already look SO SQUISHED...how on earth will they fit??

Next ultrasound in 3 weeks. Woooo-woo.

 

I have an OB appointment on friday. I will be getting my one hour glucose test. I hope everything goes good.

 

Just came home from our Dr. apt and ultrasound!! We are having a girl and a boy!!! We are so thrilled!! They both look perfect and both weigh 12oz which is bigger than what all the books I have read say!! Baby A (girl) is very low and head down and her placenta has moved off my cervix YAY!!! Baby B (boy) is very high and transverse! Let's hope he moves so I can deliver vaginal! My cervix is still at 3.9 cm!!! So thrilled that everything is so good and can not wait to meet Lydia and Levi!!!

 

I've got the big one coming! Scheduled for a c-section Wednesday the 11th at 7:30am. I'll be 38 weeks 4 days! Can't wait! I am in sooo much pain and discomfort and I want to meet my little babies!

 

28w4d growth scan at the OB's today. Weights are great & fluid levels good.

Both babies weighing around 2 lbs. 7 ozs. Baby A is low with his bum down, while Baby B is higher up in vertex position. A C-section seems very likely. Wonder if there's any chance Baby A will turn head down? I really want to avoid a C-section.


Next visit in 2 weeks' for another growth scan + cervix scan. Hopefully Twin A is going to be vertex.

 

had my NST yesterday. weight up to 183.5, trace protein, and they said i had definitely dropped.

baby a passed in the first 20min, baby b was moving too much and they couldn't get a tracing so they finally babysat him and he passed at the 50min mark so YAY! no NST. They said i was contracting too much to count, and they started out regular, but then spaced out.

Curious to see if my cervix has changed any from 1cm and 50% effaced 2wks ago. The pessimist in me says no, but we will see today lol

 

i am back from the 36wk appt. nora is -1 station, and i am 2cm and 50% effaced. Still measuring out at 47wks. Probably won't join the 50+club. induction is scheduled for the 22nd at 8pm and god i hope i don't make it to then.

thursday will be my last appt for the week, another lovely NST

 

We saw the specialist today. Alex (our boy) weighs 3.2lbs and Ayden (our girl) is 3.1lbs. My cervix measured 5cm! The u/s tech said, "your cervix is a mile and a half!" One month ago the babies were both head down and facing one another but today they were all sorts of squished and contorted. The doctor is super happy with our progress; everything seems to be going great.

 

Back from my peri appt.

Baby A failed the NST but passed the BPP with flying colors. Baby B passed both. They are still concerned about the elevated doppler readings so they want to see me twice a week from here on out and once a week with the OB until delivery. They said if the babies so much as blink weird they will take them. I go back next Monday to the OB, Tuesday to the peri for another NST and BPP and Friday to the peri for another growth scan.

 

On Wed we had our growth scan at the peri's both girls are up about a pound so they are now 2.4lbs and 2.9lbs. The last two ultrasounds they were both vertex but now 1 turned breech :headbang: O'well we have plenty of time for her to turn.
Because we can't tell if they are di/di or mo/di(found out too late) I have go in every 2wks for fluid check.

 

I had my OB appointment today and they did my one hour glucose. Won't know anything for ten days but I hope all is well. I am 24 weeks 5 days but measuring 30 weeks. My doctor said I am gaining to much weight but I don't think so. I don't eat except when I'm hungry. Which is all the time lol
