This Week's Appointments Aug. 24-28

Wednesday we have our pre-testing appt at the hospital! And Thursday is the big day! We have to be at the hospital Thursday morning and our csection is scheduled for 1230pm. I am praying we dont get bumped, because after 38 weeks, I am ready to meet these boys!

I had my weekly OB visit and first NST. The NST went great boys are doing awesome and I have few contractions but nothing serious. I am measuring 42 weeks yikes; BP ok. Now I am on weekly appt and weekly NST.

I am 23 weeks & going for a regular growth u/s on wednesday, the exciting thing is that my mum is visiting from england & I'm bringing her to meet her new grandkids!

 

I had my MFM appointment yesterday. They checked out their hearts and all was well. However there was a weight discordance. Baby A is growing more than baby B. A is 1 lb. 9 oz with her systolic/dystolic pressures at 5 and baby B is 1 lb. 4 oz with a pressure of 3. He said the gap was too big between them and he wanted to watch it. The difference now is at 22% and said he wouldn't be too alarmed unless it was at 40% or more. However he wants me to go on bedrest and see if the gap closes some. I will see him again in 2 weeks.

 

I had both a BPP/NST and a regular OB visit yesterday. The babies are both doing great, scoring 10 out of 10 on the BPP. Since I am 3.5 cm dilated, the doctor checked everything, and said that everything was the same as last week, so I get to stay home on bed rest for another week (instead of the hospital)! Now I'm just waiting to see how far I can go.

 

Had my 38 week check-up today. Ultrasound guess for weights was 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 6 lbs. 12 oz. I'm still 2-3 cm and 100% effaced - paper-thin cervix, my OB says. BP was fine and he said he'd see me in L&D for my scheduled c on Tuesday - I wasn't even sad to be sent away today - holding out for a few more days seems do-able at this point.
