Oh man I just realized I posted in last week's thread.
So here's mine!

30 OB appt. Baby A still breech (is he ever gonna turn?!), Baby B vertex. Both measuring slightly more than 3lbs which is really great. Water levels good. Not very significant weight gain but it went to the babies anyway.

Cervix measured high and between 2.5cm-3cm which is greeeaaatt. I think I can make it to 37 weeks! I agreed to get 2 doses of steroid jabs "just in case." It's really a PITA. lol. I have to go back in the morning to get my 2nd dose.

BABY A PLEASE FLIP!!!

 

I have OB appointment on friday. I will get the results from my glucose test and I have few questions to ask her. On saturday I am going to get my second 3D u/s done I hope the boys give us some good video and pictures this time!! I will be sure to let yall know how it goes.

 

I had my OB appt this morning. Everything looked good. OB did a quick u/s baby A was moving around and Baby B was sleeping. Go back in 4 weeks.

 

I have my second ultrasound on Thursday to check cervical length followed by my OB appointment. My last cervix length was great... I measured 3.9cm. My cervix will be the determining factor as to preterm labor or bedrest as I have a history of cervix shortening to early with singles.

 

Had my 33 1/2 week appt with the OB today. I am 2.5cm dilated and about 80% effaced. Have been having contractions irregularly but enough to produce cervical change. Won't be stopping labor if it starts. Had steroid shots at 31 weeks. Hoping to make it another 1 1/2 weeks at least. Dr says once I hit 4cm, he will induce. Both babies are head down and fluid is great. Will try for vag when the time comes.
When any of you hit 2.5cm, how long after did labor kick in?

 

Yesterday I had my last appointment before my C-Section that will be on 9/3 - if I can make it that far. We had an ultrasound also, the girl - Twin A was measuring 5# 14 oz and the boy - Twin B was measuring 6# 4 oz. I hope they will be both over 6# by the time they are born, the doctor thinks the boy will be close to 7#. Of course, I am not sure the measurements are as accurate, I know they can give errors, especially when they are so cramped in there and the angles are weird. The strange thing is that somehow within the last few days the boy flipped and he is now breech also, just like his sister - he was vertex during the last 3 months. The girl has always been breech, that's why we have already scheduled the C-section. I am getting nervous, it seems like the time flew, but we are also very excited to meet the twins, hopefully a week from tomorrow.

 

Had my cervical u/s today and OB apt. Cervix is still 3.8 cm!! My OB apt was great. I am measuring 28 weeks, 6 weeks ahead. Weight gain has slowed, probably since I can't eat as much (good thing I put on a lot early on!) I go back every 2 weeks and at 25 weeks they will be doing the fetal fibronectin test. Nervous about that since I have been positive before and there fore went on bed rest. Good Luck Ladies!!

 

Had to reschedule my OB appointment today because I am having car trouble. I will still get my 3D ultrasound tomorrow.

 

Had my 31 week Dr. appointment today. He said the babies are doing well and I got to question him about the minor "possible" complications they saw during the ultrasound on wednesday. Sometimes I wish Dr.'s wouldn't say anything until they know for sure something is wrong...
Both babies are currently breech and I am measuring 40 cm.

So what is an u/s cervical check? I have seen this mentioned and was just wondering. Is it something most dr.'s do as routine during an u/s? or is it something done at every appt? If my dr. has done this he sure hasn't mentioned it. Which I am sure means everything is okay.

 

A probe is inserted into your vagina during a u/s cervical check. It's not uncomfortable and aims to check the length of your cervix to see if it's thinning out any sooner than it should be, an indicator of PTL. I had 1 done at 20 weeks and another at 30 weeks. I didn't have any done during my single pregnancy so I'm guessing this is usually done in multiple pregnancies or on mommies who are at risk of PTL.
