This Week's Appointments April 26-30

I am now being seen every two weeks, and Thursday I go for an NST and doppler check. Interested to see if I am still gaining weight because I have not been able to eat as much. Up to 32lbs last time. This will be the 30wk check up!! can't believe it!! SOOOO excited to meet my Girls soon (but not toooo soon I hope)

 

This morning was my 31 week (biweekly) check up. The babies are growing great (3 8 and 3 15!) and looked fine.

The doc wants me to use the glucose monitor finger pricking thing. LAME. But whatever it takes to make some healthy babies. And he said no more swimming.

And they submitted my paperwork to be scheduled for a section. Both babies are still breech, no one has ever been head down, so unless that changes, we're sectioning. Oh well.

Feel a little overwhelmed. Its all actually happening!

 

Friday I go for our weekly BPP - so far the girls have been performing wonderfully.

 

When to the fetal specialist had my u/s and 4D done today. Both babies are doing fine (Baby A-2lb 3 oz and Baby B- 2 lb 1 oz). Baby A head is down but Baby B is still beeched. But the Dr. told me that they have some time to move around a little. So hopefully they will keep their head down.

 

I saw my OB this morning for a BPP, NST, and check up. Everything looked good. And I have another growth scan on Thursday. My OB told me today that if the size difference doesn't significantly improve then she's going to deliver them on Friday. Both DH and I are very nervous. Excited but also nervous.

 

Thursday will be my first appointment since being told I'd need to have weekly monitoring. They'll do an ultrasound for fluid checks and tracking growth and I think they may do a doppler this time. I really hope we are able to see a good growth curve, especially for Baby B. I feel like I've gotten bigger recently, more uncomfortable anyway, so I'm hoping that means there was a growth spurt. I think I'll see a different high risk doctor this time since I'm going to a different place for the u/s, and then later that day I have a follow-up appointment with my OB. We are really hoping for the good news that the babies are getting bigger.

 

going in for a cervix scan tomorrow......pretty peeved i have to go in every 2wks since really my cervix is super long......dont see the point

 

cervix went from 4.8 to 3.9 and i go in for a growth and cervix scan in 2 wks

 

Had my appointment with the OB today. No NST, She said I had a trace amount of protein in my urine but nothing high enough to worry about at this point. My Glucose test came back fine, but I had a raised level of white blood cells, so they re-ran the test to see if they get the same result again. Checked the HB's of both babies and they were fine (150's and 140's).

I am 29wks + 4 days, and my fundal height is 33 weeks. I am guessing that is ok. Doesn't seem as big as some of the other twin moms I have been seeing who are more like 8-10wks ahead. I hope that is ok!!!

I see the RE and OB again on the 13th of May.

 

Both girls did great - 8 out of 10 for BPP! They are also both head down, yeah :Clap:
