I have another U/S scheduled on Thursday the 15th with the RE to check growth and then in the afternoon have to go to my OB for the gestational diabetes test and normal check up. Probably don't have another NST this week since I went in unexpectedly last week for one (having alot of BH's and less movement from A - but they were fine and my cerix was closed/long). I think I will start two week checks from here. They have been monthly up to now. YAY!!!

I have my 3 month, second visit with my OB tomorrow. And after that, my first visit with the high risk specialist in town. Guess we will get to see lots of our sweet babies tomorrow!

    Good luck, ladies.

Wednesday is our big u/s and I cannot wait to finally find out the genders since our u/s last week was cancelled.

Wednesday is my weekly check at 38 weeks! Yay--can't believe we've made it this far! They'll check the fluid levels, NST, and generally make sure everything is still ok. And then hopefully we cruise to the scheduled date of next Monday!

Well, this morning I was suposed to have my three hour glucose test, but the phlebotomist was having technical issues and couldn't get the test strips for an hour, after we already waited an hour in the waiting room and she searched for a half, so lunch would have been at 1:30... first meal of the day. So we left and will try again at a different lab tomorrow.

I had my first biweekly meeting with the doc. It lasted maybe 5 minutes? She measured my belly, heart the babies, answered questions, and we were done. She was very happy I have stopped working (today was my first day home, and I didn't go nuts... yet)

Both babies passed everything today! However my blood pressure is continuing to sneak up. Since I've already had my steroid shots, she said she definitely wants me to take it easy and make it two more weeks at least but we definitely won't go past 37. Sooo....we have anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks until we meet our little ones!

I have an 18-week checkup on Thursday and will also have a big U/S done that day. I was supposed to have it on Week 16 but the receptionist didn't schedule the right kind of appointment. I really hope we see the sex this week!

Well, today's 3-hour glucose test went ok. I felt really sick the first hour, but then it went away and I felt normal. Then I crashed hard! Mom came up to drive me (they live an hour and a half south) and in the car I started shaking. Ate a bagel, took a long nap, and now I feel fine.

Should get the results later this week... fingers crossed that I passed!

today's u/s was great. babies are both around 10oz, fluid is a 4.something for both. they look fantastic. placentas have moved up some which is great and my cervix went down from 4.91 to 4.8 so still great. We also found out today that they are DEFINITELY fraternal! (good thing the stroller is g/n.) I go back in 2 wks for another cervix length scan.

A little bit of excitement today--we went in this morning for our regular weekly check-in and my blood pressure was a little bit high. My OB thought it would be best to monitor so we were admitted to the hospital and hooked up to monitors for me and the babies. Of course, the minute we were admitted, my BP went down to 110/60 and stayed that way so there was probably absolutely no reason for us to be there but it's good to just be safe.
Otherwise, the babies are doing great, there are no signs of labor (at all!), there's plenty of fluid for both and, according to my Dr., we will likely just be back on Monday for the scheduled C.

U/S went great! Both babies are abotu 2.4lbs each and my cervix lengthened to about 4.8!! RE said all the measurements/fluid was great and he was very happy with how things looked. Baby A moved into Breech position though, so unless she turns back around, I will be looking at a C section for sure. I know she has time, but still makes me nervous!!

Then off to my OB appt and had another NST. Babies did fine. Next was my glucose test. Should get the results in a week. I am definitely starting appts every two weeks now, which I am happy about. I get so nervous when I have to wait a month!!

Had BPP today and both girls are looking great. Baby B has finally joined her sister in the Vertex position. Now if they can only stay that way for the next 6 weeks I can have a vaginal delivery :D

went in for my 28 week scan today, Baby A moved up and Baby B is now resting her head on my cervix, so she would actually be the first one born .. Baby A( boy) weighs 2.5 lbs and B (girl) weighing 2 lbs, cervix is still long and closed so bed rest is working :) we picked out names, ( A) Isaiah Vincent and (B) Maliyah Marsei pronounced ( marsay) we have graduated to 2 week appts! so hopefully time will go by faster
