This Week's Appointments 9/15-19

I have an appointment Friday afternoon with my OB. It should just be an u/s to check my cervix. At my appt last week it appeared that my cervix was starting to funnel but it was still long, so they wanted to wait another week and check it again. If it appears to be shortening or the funneling is worse then they'll do an fFN test and I'll probably end up on bedrest. <_<

 

Let's see, I have OB and MFM AND my GTT/28 week bloodwork on Friday! OB for a cervix check and regular checkup, MFM for growth, and labwork (GTT, Rhogam, other stuff?)

 

I will be 10 weeks this Saturday and I have an u/s scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. My last u/s was at 5w6d because of some spotting and that is where we found out they are twins!! I am excited to see them again but still a little nervous.

I have my regular weekly OB appointment and my monthly ultrasound on Wednesday.

 

I have a lengthy vistit On Tuesday the 16th. Doing my glucose test, ob appointment, and an ultrasound. BUSY BUSY!

Cant wait!

 

I had a Doc appointment with ultrasound yesterday... and it appears I'm growing super-giant-monster babies! My daughter and son weighed 1-13 and 1-12 respectively.... and my boy decided to flip to breech position during the scan! He's such a ham....

 

Appointment went well today. 29w2d. NST was great, US showed two very active, busy little babies and the appointment itself was pretty normal and boring

Emersyn is weighing 3lb 2.5oz
Evan is weighing 3lb 1.5oz

Both are tranverse.....Emmy head to the right, Evan head to the left and ALLLLLL the hands and feet are in the top right corner of my placenta, it is a BOOMING place up there

So onto my Dr.....some of you have seen the funny things I have posted about things that he says before...he is a crack-up and I am sure that he realizes which patients he can joke with or say things to and which ones he can't because I could see some people taking offense to some of his comments....but I don't

I was in the room waiting on him, so he comes in and we talk for a few, then he says...should we do an FFN today? I say, well you mentioned it last week and I didn't have a cervical US (vaginal) today so I am good if you want too....he says....YES! I live for those! lol And I say sarcastically back....oh yes and so do I.....then he says.....your vagina will never get as much attention anywhere else in the world as it will right here.....lol OMG, he is such a dork....it's so nice though because he totally knows how to break the ice and make you feel more comfortable, well at least people who know how to take a joke anyways

 

Its my last cervical legnth check on Wednesday!! Wooo hooo!! After 6 weeks of nothing changing, they have decided I'm good to go! Now they'll just check when they do a growth scan every 3-4 weeks.

 

Hi, sounds like all you mamas are doing well.

I had my 20 wk appointment yesterday along with the big ultrasound. Both babies are doing well, measuring within a day of each other, and not the least bit shy. We are having boys!!! :itwins_boys:

OB said everything looked good, didn't put me on any type of limitations, and I go back next month for a cervical scan, "q-tip" test, and a regular prenatal visit.

 

Had my second ultrasound yesterday and both babies are doing great! Heart rates were perfect and they were already moving around like crazy! I feel sooooo relieved!

:woohoo: Woo Hoo!!

Good news! Today's u/s didn't show any funneling! Apparently is was just the angle of the last u/s and everything looks wonderful today! I'm so relieved and excited! My cervix was still closed and measuring 3.9. So doc says no worries, he'll see me again in two weeks.
