This Week's Appointments 7/28-8/1

This is our weekly appointment thread for the week of July 28-Aug. 1. Please reply here and let us know any appointments you have this week. Don't forget to come back and update us on how the appointment went. Good luck at all appointments.

 

[SIZE=12pt]I have a BPP/NST today and Thursday then Friday is D-day!!!! My c-section is scheduled for 1:30 Friday afternoon!!!!![/SIZE] :a_smil09:

 

I have an ob appointment on Wednesday.

 

I have an OB appt today, Monday, 7/28. Hoping to find out more about my shortening cervix and funneling! Maybe a cerclage is in my future?

 

I have an o/b appt and an u/s scheduled for Thursday morning. This will be my first u/s since 10 weeks (when we found out it was twins). We're excited and nervous! Praying the babies are both growing well! We also really hope to be able to find out their genders at this appt.

 

I've got an ob appt combined with the dreaded 28 week glucose tolerance test. Also getting a rhogam shot then since I'm rh negative. I'm going to be poked and prodded! Wish me luck!

 

U/S and OB appointment tomorrow.

OB appt on Wednesday.

 

I have an OB appointment tomorrow at 10:15am. He is suppose to remove the cerclage tomorrow and we hope labor comes quickly after that.

 

I had my OB appointment today and both babies looked good to go. I can't believe I've gained like 13 pounds already. Still a little worried because my doctor still only wants to see me once a month for now and is only recommending ultrasounds every six weeks and I'm having mono/di twins. But, I'm going to see a MFM specialist next week, so I guess I will ask him about it.

I will just continue to think positively for now!

Very excited, had my OB appt today. My cervix hasn't gotten any shorter and my funneling has leveled off. The last week of modified bedrest has done the trick! Have to continue to stay off my feet as much as possible and go back next Monday for another cervix check.

Hope everyone else has successful appts this week!

 

Cerclage came out today! Babies are both still head down! Heartbeats look good so now it is HURRY UP AND WAIT!!!!

 

I have an OB appt on the 31st. I'll probably get another U/S.

 

U/S showed that both babies are growing ahead still. Boy is 4lbs 11ozs, girl is 4lbs 6ozs. I'm measuring as if I were 41 weeks . Doctor wrote me a prescription for iron and that now brings my daily pill count to 8! Oh the joys!

I had some painful contractions for an hour plus after the appointment but am feeling fine today (thank god).

My appointment went well. Both babies are now head down, we will see If Baby A decided to stay that way because she usually flops all around. B has been head down since I was about 26 weeks and shes the one that is the farthest down.

Lots of extra vitamins to help prevent pre-e happening again and some bp meds as well.

OB appt went very well-heartbeats, fluid levels look great! Met with anesthesia because of my concerns with previous epidural experience and he calmed my fears a lot. On the flip side I do have a UTI <_< second one this pregnancy!! Babies both head down again. Surprisingly no weight gain since last week.

 

I had my 23 w 4 d appt with my regular OB. She did another U/S. The boys' heart rates were 145 and 150. Jayden (on the left) is head up, feet in my cervix and Jordan (on the right) is head down feet in Jayden's face. Yin/Yang again. They're beating each other up. lol

She told me that we would be scheduling my c-section next month at my 28 week appt. We'll be scheduling it for November 14th. YAY! My son's birthday is on the 12th, so in his eyes he'll still be "older" than the twins. He thought since they were originally going to be born on the 7th that they would be older than him. lol The mind of a 5 year old.

I also do my 1 hour glucose test on the 12th which is the same day as my appt with my peri for another U/S.

She also said that she would remove all the extra scar tissue from my first c-section when she does this one. I'm so happy!

 

I had an u/s on monday. The boys are doing great, both weigh in at 3 lb 13 oz. Both head up for now, but that can still change. I have an OB appt. friday afternoon, and after that we go to weekly appts.

And the results are in..............we're having two girls! We are thrilled! Both babies are measuring right on track and doing great. Fluid levels, etc all look good. They are both lying transverse, with baby A on my left side & baby B on the right. Next appt will be the dreaded glucose test - YUCK!

 

I didn't post the initial appointment, but we just got back from our "BIG" ultrasound. We confirmed that they are definitely still girls! Everything looks good, about a 10% difference in weight (359g for Baby B, and 325g for baby A - odd since the last appointment, baby A was about 5% larger than B) Cervix is still nice and long (over 4) and closed, so everything is moving right along!

 

It sounds like everyone's appointments went well this week....YAY!
