This Week's Appointments 6/22-26

I have BPP and NST in the morning today. will update later on when I would be back.

 

I have a follow-up appt. with my OB tomorrow morning (due to L&D visit last Thursday evening) and an US with the Perinatologist on Wednesday. Keep all your fingers and toes crossed that he finds a long closed cervix!

 

BPP and OB appointment on Wednesday. Can't wait to see the (estimated) sizes of my little ones. I feel HUGE, so I hope they are HUGE too!

Tuesday-- seeing my perinatal for my last ultrasound (I think). Hopefully both babies are head down now.

Thursday--seeing my OB for weekly appointment

 

We had our 20 week apt....

We are having boys!!!!
I have a 21 month old boy already.

Should I start padding my house now??

 

I have an US on Thursday to check size and growth! I too feel huge!!!

I am 34 weeks today.

I had my 23/24 week appt. today, everything looks great, Baby A h/b 150 and baby B h/b 140s, which is perfect, my bp is good as well. The only thing is that I am huge, I am measuring 32 weeks already no wonder I have gained 10lbs since last visit.

 

Had a BPP and NST today, both babies are measuring 5lb. 2oz. with strong heartbeats! Have an OB appt. and NST on thurs. will schedule my c-section(nervous)!!!

Funny thing today, I was hoping that maybe Baby A would turn from breech to vertex, but instead Baby B went from transverse to breech. I told the US tech that I had been telling the boys to turn vertex, but instead they went the opposite way. She responded "Well, that's boys for you, no sense of direction!"

 

I had my weekly NST and OB. Everything went well and babies are doing great. We get another U/S next Monday....can't wait to see how much they have grown!

 

Bi weekly OB appt on Friday and discussing the u/s results from Friday. I'm going to ask for my care to be transferred to the city 3hrs away since I'm moving to my parents til the babes are born...

Today we had the 31 week appointment, I was so excited because DH could go with me. He is in the army and is stationed two hours away from home, but today he got leave. YYYAAAYYY...... Anyway, the boys are doing great! Heartbeats sound healthy, blood pressure was normal, and I measured a whopping 38 weeks (7 weeks ahead, yikes!!!!). I have gained 27 pounds to this point, which seems like a lot to me, but they didn't seem concerned. Overall, I was in la-la land.

Oh, and while DH was home this weekend we finally got the Nursery done... One more milestone!

OB follow-up this morning was good. Bedrest got extended from 30 weeks to 32 weeks so I'm looking at at least another 3 weeks on miserable boring bedrest. BUT she said everything else was looking good. Tomorrow is the perinatologist appointment where they'll do a cervix check; please keep your fingers crossed that it is a GOOD check. I don't want to be on hospital bedrest.

 

I have an appointment with my midwife on the 25th, I have been having painless contractions everyday for the past three days after coming home from work in the evenings, so I am anxious to ask her about it and see what she says.

 

26th is the "determine sex" Ultrasound for us. She just hit 20 weeks today, so hopefully we will find out on Friday.

I'm in Iraq, so I'm gonna try to get to a phone. I haven't missed one of her appts yet, so I'm going to try not to miss this one

 

Perinatologist appointment was today - everything was GREAT! They didn't do growth measurements (said they like for 3 weeks to pass since last one to be able to accurately track changes). Baby A is now breech (bad baby) and B is transverse (really bad baby). Cervix is still described as GREAT and couldn't look better at 3.7 cm Peri said I just really don't need to be on bedrest and just to take it easy. This doctor is really good - he explains everything he recommends and why, etc. I like him better than my OB - is that bad?

 

Hi Everyone!
We had our 32 week appointment the other day. Both babies are 4 pounds and their heart rates are terrific! Passed the 4th non-stress test in a row! (I'm just waiting to fail one, the nurse keeps telling me I will) Right now, she expects me to go in the next 4-6 weeks. I've gained 38 pounds (AHHHHHHHHHHHH) but she seemed ok with it. (I'd like to believe it's all babies and my huge feet, though)

29 week appointment yesterday - both babies are fat and happy at 3 pounds each. Their measurements are also both 3-4 days ahead, and I'm measuring at 35 weeks. I go back at 31 weeks and start weekly appointments then. Doctor also said he would starting manually checking cervix then (only been checked by u/s up until now). Baby A is vertex, Baby B is breech.

Had a scary appointment yesterday. The doctor said baby B's heartbeat was slowing down and speeding up and worse case scenario they'd go ahead and do the c-section. They wanted to put me on the NST machine to monitor him for awhile but they couldn't do it right away so I had to go sit in the waiting room and just wait, by myself. I was really trying not to freak out. I didn't have my cell with me so I couldn't call my husband. Finally they put me on the NST machine and after what felt like forever the doctor looked at the results and said it was totally normal!

 

Lisa! I'm glad all is okay!

Sounds like some good visits this week overall!

you mean your wife is gonig to the Dr appointment or she will be deliver soon?

 

oops...sorry...she just was at her 20 week appt.

I was on the phone with her durign appt. Wish I could have been there, but oh well...
