This Week's Appointments 6/2-6/6

This is our weekly appointment thread for the week of June 2-6. Please reply here and let us know any appointments you have this week. Don't forget to come back and update us on how the appointment went. Good luck at all appointments

 

[SIZE=12pt]BPP on Thursday 6/5[/SIZE]

 

Ultrasound on Wednesday, regular checkup on Thursday. (Scheduling conflicts, couldn't get them back to back. Errggh.) Hopefully the ultrasound will show them both head-down--the doctor thought they were last week. Of course, he also says Baby B can flip backwards once he gets the room, so I don't know what to hope for.

 

Ultrasound (growth scan) Tuesday morning followed by OB visit...and my last day of work is Friday!!

 

First prenatal visit today at 3pm. Found out about the twins in the ER when I thought I was having problems. No problems, just twins!!!

7w1d today.

 

u/s this afternoon.

 

NST tomorrow and Friday and OB on Friday also.
June 19 is c-section!

Congratulations!!! I found out it was twins in a similar way...welcome to TS!!

 

I have my 4 week growth scan later this afternoon.

 

Ultrasound/routine 28 week check up on Wednesday.

 

I have a growth scan on Wednesday and also they will check that everything is still great after laser surgery 2 weeks ago. We have a peri appt right after the scan : )

So all went well at the ultrasound/growth scan. The fluid levels are equal, cervix looks good, babies both head down and weighing in at 13 oz.

Progesterone shot on Tuesday morning at 9:30 and then perinatal appointment on Wednesday at 1:15pm.

 

I have a follow up appointment today with my Peri to check my cervix. They found funneling last week and I was put on strict bed rest. I hope it's helping.

 

Had my first NST yesterday (monday the 2nd).. all went great.

Peri appointment for growth scan on and then I an appointment with my OB on Thursday the 5th.

 

The u/s went well, everything looks great.

Update: Growth scan was okay...our little girl is still quite a bit smaller than our little boy. She's measuring a few days behind while he's measuring a full week ahead. We will just continue to monitor their growth...I'm trying not to worry about it since u/s can be off by quite a bit at this stage. Cervix is around 3.5.

And baby B (girl) is now head down like her brother...I was hoping that was the cause of the extreme discomfort I was in Friday afternoon/evening!!

 

I had a regular check-up with my OB today (currently 15 wks 1 day) and everything went good. . .She is referring me to a perinatologist (who I also saw during 1st preg with son) due to chronic hypertension and now the extra risk of carrying TWO. . .I will see both my regular OB and the Perinatologist during my entire pregnancy which actually reassures me a LOT that I will be in good hands! So far so good!! =)

Doctor appointment went well. Both babies are still growing. My OB asked me if the MFM doctor at the hospital had said anything to us about when we should deliver. OB says she thinks he will not want me to go past 36-37 weeks so I guess when I go back to see him in 2 weeks we'll talk about that. My cervix is still holding up so I'll just continue to try and take it easy.

I'm sorry your little girl is measuring smaller then her brother. BUT you have the right attitude, those u/s can be way off. It was way off with my DS. He was supposed to be a lb smaller then his sister and ended up being almost 2 lbs bigger then her. :hug99:

All went well today. Baby A is sideways right now and Baby B is breech. Just praying they will both turn head down by time of delivery. I really do not want to have a C-section. They are healthy and that is most important. There is plenty of fluid and right on target in terms of growth! Baby A is 3 pounds 10 oz and Baby B is 4 pounds. Man are they active in there!

25 W 5 D with identical twin girls



We had our scan today and the girls are looking great. Fluid levels are completely normal and they each weigh 2 lbs 2 oz. They were moving around in there like crazey and we are just so happy that all has gone so well since the surgery!!

 

Went to Peri appointment today and babies are doing great at 28 weeks/5 days. Last Thursday Austin weighed 3lbs. 1oz. and today (6 days later) he weighs 3lbs. 9 oz. and Alyssa weighed 3lbs last Thursday and today she weighed 3lbs. 6 oz. I just can't believe they are getting so big. I am taking a poll with my friends and family to see when they think these babies are going to born just for fun!

Cervix measured 3.5cm this week. The "funneling" was still there but they don't believe it's true funneling. Whatever that means. It appears there's broken up pieces of mucous in the "funneling" area. I've been removed from strict bedrest and given instructions for modified bedrest instead. I'll know more about the plan of action at my next OB appt. next week.

 

I didn't get my u/s this week because the technician was out sick (guess that's the downside of switching to a smaller practice). But everything seemed fine at the doctor's checkup. This is the point where I always wonder WHY I have to go in all the time when nothing is happening--but better safe than sorry, I suppose.

 

Just a regular appt yesterday, checked my cervix, he said it felt fine. he checked himself though instead of using the U/S wand, I wish I knew CM wise what I was at. The girls' heartbeats sounded good too. The doc did tell me that he wants me to cut back my hours at work though, which kind of suprised me since everything seems to be right on track. I talked him into a few more weeks at work if I promised to not lift a finger at home, poor DH!!!! I failed my initial glucose test so I go for the 3 hours one tomorrow, lovely.
