This Week's Appointments 6/1-5

This is our weekly appointment thread for the week of June 1-5. Please reply here and let us know any appointments you have this week. Don't forget to come back and update us on how the appointment went. Good luck at all appointments.

 

I have my 12 week ultrasound tomorrow! I'm crazy excited! I heard them both on my doppler last night....so it gives me some reasurrance that they are still doing fine and I won't have a terrible appt!

 

I have my 16 week U/S today. Hoping to find out what we're having.

I had a NST and O.B. this morning. Baby A was a stinker again but we finally got her to behave and perform. Everything is going well!

 

I had bpp and NST today
bpp 10 out of 10 for both fetuses
with NSt we had hard time but this time my DH was with me and we got it done in 1 hour.
It was funny but on our NST babies were very active and made hard time for us. but during our u/s both of them were sleeping and tech was trying to wake them up.

 

See my ob for appt and u/s thurs. Hoping things look good after my L&D stint friday and my current strict bedrest situation.

 

I have another ultrasound tomorrow morning to check cervical length. I ended up in labor and delivery yesterday due to tons of pressure and lower backache. Turned out I was contracting every 4-6 minutes! So now it's on to weekly monitoring for the remaining weeks! (at 21 now!)

 

16 week appt tomorrow. Just seeing my peri- nothing too exciting! I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeats again!!

2 weeks until our big Ultrasound!!

 

Had my BPP and NST yesterday...everything went great!! Thursday I have another NST and meet with the OB to check my cervix.

 

I had my 12 week u/s today and all looks good! Babies are moving like crazy and they are right on target. I have a home doppler and can hear their heart beats all the time, but being able to see them is just amzing! I love it!

 

My weekly appointments have started. I have an appointment tomorrow with my OB. From this point on they will be checking my cervix. I'll be almost 33 weeks.

 

I have an OB appt on Thursday I'll be 22 Wks. I can't wait to see my little girls

 

Well, we were in for a big suprise today. We had one embryo implanted in March and we were told a few weeks later that it had split and we were having twins. However, today we went for our 12 week US and we were told by the sonographer that we had two placentas. Well, this wouldn't be such a big deal, except everything we read tells us that after 3 days if an embryo splits there should only be one placenta and we had our embryo transfered on Day 5. Does this mean they accidently implanted TWO embryos? Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I had a great appt today. Blood pressures were great, blood sugars were good, heard the heartbeats and found out that my 16w3d belly is measuring 28 weeks! HOLY SMOKES!

I would suggest that you were ovulated on your own and that egg was fertilized by sperm and implanted as well.
I know girl from another forum who transfer only one embrio and was surprise with boy/girl twins ( for sure fraternal)

They didn't check my cervix this time. Pretty sure there's nothing going on down there anyway. I'm measuring 38 weeks and both heartbeats sounded good.

 

Thanks for the response. I spoke with the fertility dr, who basically told us that they ARE identical and that the US tech was wrong.

 

Had OB appt and u/s today, first one since my L&D visit. Baby a is 2lb 9oz and baby b is 3 lbs. I'm stuck on strict bedrest (bathroom and shower only) as my cervix is now nice and soft, short, and baby a is literally pushing right against it causing contractions when i'm upright. I dread the thought of so many weeks of bedrest ahead, but we'll make it. My ob is convinced i wont make it near 38 weeks, but we're trying to cook as long as possible.

 

So.... I had my 22 wk appt yesterday!! The girls look great my doctor said everything looks fine and he dosen't want to see me for another 4 weeks :huh: I HATE waiting so long between appt. I know I am doing fine and the girls are both growing but I worry about them sooooo much I like the reasurrance I get when I go to the Dr. I mean if he was going to be so nonchalant about things why did he bother to tell me I was high risk in the first place. My girls are mono/di

 

I had an ultrasound and OB appointment on Wednesday (at 31 weeks and 2 days). Everything was perfect! Babies are both measuring about 3lbs5oz (+ or - the 10-20% margin of error for u/s measurements). But that is a little less than 50th percentile, which is perfect for twins. Fluid is excellent, cervix is still very long, hard and closed tight. OB said I was doing so well that I get an extra week off before I start my weekly appointments. Just want to make it to 34 weeks, then I can relax a bit...
