I have an OBGYN appointment tomorrow. I have to do a 24 hour stay in the hospital with my daughter that evening as well, so it may take me a couple days to update.

Just updating from my appt. today. After three plus weeks of bedrest, I'm finally putting on some weight, and all my numbers checked out fine. My cervix is soft (it was two weeks ago), but the cerclage is still holding taut. . . so that's good. Now I'm back in my bed until the next appt.

OB appt and cervical scan today - Everything looks good...Still measuring 1.9cm with funneling, but no change is good news! The babies are measuring 2lb 4 oz and 2 lb 1 oz. I'm measuring 30 weeks and have gained about 30 lbs so far...

Waiting for results of ffn from today...

Have 1 hr glucose later this week....

Well trip the Peri went ok. I'm 90% effaced but still holding at 1cm, so that's something positive. She gave me Terb pills to help contractions at home ( I had killer ones one on top of the other before I left for her office today ). The girls are both looking great and doing well. I go back next week and we'll see how things are going from there.

I went in on Monday for my weekly OB appointment and AFI. AF is down to 8.5. OB didn't seem too concerned about it. Said it was normal for this stage of pg. Twins are both still footling breeches. Little snots! NST went fine. I go in Thursday for my other NST. So far, so good. Cervix is still high and closed. Uterus has stopped growing at this point... at least we think. It made it to 47 cm. Still at 18lbs for the entire pg. I go in next Monday for my 34 week u/s. My blood pressure goes up if I sit for too long, because of the way the twins are sitting... so I get to do a lot of laying around for a while. <_<

growth scan and OB appt Tues .... then I should be going to weekly visits ....

Went to the OB's office on Tuesday, and got a bit of a surprise. I thought I was going to have a growth scan, but instead, we had a BPP (biophysical profile) This is to check heart rate changes with movement, muscle tone, breathing (they're practicing!), and the amount of amniotic fluid. Apparently, we scored an 8, which is the best score you can get. Baby A is still head down, right against my bladder (now that explains a lot!!), and weighs 4 lb, 2 oz. Baby B is BREECH, feet against my bladder; and weighs 4 lb, 4 oz. We're up to over 8 lbs of baby! No wonder I can't sleep.

Saw Dr Hill briefly, and we are now at the point where I will have weekly OB visits, as well as weekly BPPs. This should be fun, co-ordinating my work schedule, Brett, Abby, and Rachel all together!!

I'm a little bit concerned about the whole Baby B breech thing ...... guess I need to go look at Spinning Babies again.

Went in yesterday for my weekly NST and once again had nurses asking why I was there so early on  I just do what I am told, thats what I tell them. The girls were very cooperative for the monitoring, after a rocky start with Baby A ( she's always the trouble maker lol ). Since the nurse was convinced we wouldnt get the results they wanted, she decided to taser them, which was interesting! ( the vibrating thing that looks like a taser gun ). Baby A took off like a rocket! She didn't like that at all! Baby B didn't like it either. But the nurse got the reaction she wanted. My OB still wanted a fluid check and BPP, which was all good and the girls both passed 8/8. The good news was that they did not see any contractions in the hour & a half I was there, which was a first! So the terb must be working. All in all, it was a good visit with good results!

Sorry it has been so long since my appointment...I've been beyond busy. I lost another 2 pounds, so that bring my total weight gain now to 5 pounds. It took a while to hear the 2nd baby's heartbeat, which was freaking me out. We would hear it for a minute then the baby would move and we would have to search for it again. But, thankfully after 10 minutes we were able to listen to it for a while. Both were in the high 140's. Next appointment isn't until May 6 which is the big U/S.
