This Week's Appointments 4/6-10

On Wednesday, I have a growth U/S with biophysical & an OB appt (should be my last appt before my induction)

 

Growth US April 7th, then fetal Non stress test.
April 8th Peri
Yeh, 2 appts to get out of the house this week. I live in Phoenix and it's been so beautiful outside 75-80 F. I'll take all the appts I can get.

 

i have an appt for an u/s and NST on Tues morning.


36W2D mono/di boys

 

I have an OB appointment and a formal ultrasound to check growth on Wednesday the 8th.

 

Tomorrow I have my first NST and then I will also have my u/s and OB appointment. Busy day tomorrow. After that I will be seen every week from now on. Yikes. Time is flying by.

 

Had a weekly ob appt this morning and she is so pleased with how well I am doing. No BP issues or protein, but some very swollen ankles and hands. At my growth US last week the placentas look great and Jackson weighed 5lbs 1oz and Isabella weights 4lbs 14oz. She says they are measuring in the 84th % compared to singletons! Isabella is still breech so we are looking at a c-section. We have one more ultrasound on the 24th.

Addendum to today's appt. NST good. I'm carring DI\DI twins, Baby A vertex on the cervix. B Breech. No C-section, manuel turning. Peri to confirm tomorrow.

Baby A 4 lbs 13 oz
Baby B 5 lbs 1 oz

 

Peri appt today

Baby A= Breech 4 lbs. 9 oz
Baby B= Breech 5 lbs 5 oz
Gained 21 lbs. so far
Measuring 48 cm
Cervix still tight and closed


Both babies doing great. Good amount of fluid. Doesn't want to see me again unless I'm still pregnant at 37 weeks.

 

I had my OB, NST and BPP / Growth Ultrasound all done today. The twins are doing great.

Baby A (girl) = 6lb 2oz
Baby B (boy) = 5lb14oz

My c-section is scheduled two weeks from today.

Ok so here is how my 1 hour NST turned into 5 hours in the L&D. I went for my NST and the boys were doing great. Than they put the monitor on to see if I was contracting. They said I was showing some irritations. Meaning little contractions. So they had me drink a bunch of water and some juice. The apple juice got the boys moving so much they had to keep rearraning the monitors. I would have to page them to pee. I guess when I did my pee in a cup it had a lot of bacteria in it so they had to do a catheter and get a clean sample. At least my bladder was empty for a little bit. Then they hooked me up to an IV bolis because they thought that the contractions were caused by dehydration. The crazy thing is I didn't feel one contraction the whole time I was there. Not even a BH. So if I'm not feeling them how am I supposed to know to monitor them. Well anyway after the IV was done they told me I could go home and I have to reschedule my OB appointment for next week since I was strapped to an IV and couldn't make my appointment yesterday. So I didn't get to see the boys. But I'm making sure that I stay good and hydrated for at least a few more weeks. It did make me a DH a little more nervous. I think we will pack my bag tonight just to be on the safe side. Now every twinge, back ache, headache anything just is making me nervous. Boy oh boy. Being pregnant with twins has it's ups and downs. I thought everything was going great because I hadn't had any major issues this whole time. Lesson learned. Don't take anything for advantage. Well I will catch up with you guys later and do persies.

 

weekly appointment with OB/BPP. Both babies passed, both active, gained 1lb, 27w measuring 41w. Next week growth scan/BPP/OB all on diffrent days...
