This Week's Appointments 4/20-24

This is our weekly appointment thread for the week of April 20-24. Please reply here and let us know any appointments you have this week. Don't forget to come back and update us on how the appointment went. Good luck at all appointments.

 

I have my ultrasound and O.B. at the peri's office on Thursday. I will be 27w6d.

 

I have an OB appt and my first NST on Wednesday. Am also hoping to set a date for induction. Getting closer every day

 

I just get back fom growth scan at 27 weeks
both babies 2lb 9loz
cervix 3.2cm

On Thursday will have my OB appointment.

 

Had my 28 week ultrasound today. Both babies look great. Baby A weighed 3 pounds 1 ounce and Baby B was 2 pounds 15 ounces.

 

I have an appointment Friday morning with my high risk OB...hoping to get released from moderate bed rest. Friday afternoon I have an appointment with my reg OB. It will be a fun filled day! :yahoo:

 

I had my 19 week appointment today and confirmed that we are having a boy and a girl! The girl is 9oz with a heartbeat of 140. The boy is 8 oz and a heartbeat of 146. Both were squirming around so much, they had a hard time getting pictures. So far I have gained 12 lbs and have perfect blood pressure. I can't believe I am half way through!

 

17 week apt on Wednesday--just a general check up, hopefully goes well! Big u/s scheduled for May 8.

Have a bi weekly OB appt on Wed and my first NST! Perio doc gave care solely to my OB last week and said if I go into labor now, that they won't try to stop it...YIKES.

I'll be 32 weeks Wed!

 

I had an OB appt today at 31 w/3d. The doctor is very happy with how the babies are growing, but she told me to have a talk with baby A and have him flip over.. he's still breech. If he doesn't flip by the time my next appt rolls around (33 weeks), they'll schedule a c-section for around 37 weeks. So.. I need some turn over baby vibes!

 

I had my 31 week appointment and scan yesterday. The boys weigh in at 4 and 4.4 pounds each and are very active and healthy. If i go into labour now they will not stop it!! I am trying for a natural birth but baby a is lying transverse (across my cervix) so it all depends if he turns before i go into labour.

 

My last appt. is tomorrow 4/22 and final NST
INDUCTION DAY is 4/23!!!

 

Had my weekly ob appt and all is well, cervix still closed but she can feel Jackson's head!! I am so excited for these babies. Just keep on cookin'!!! I have my last ultrasound at peri's office on Friday. Hopefully Isabella has turned down, I think she has!

 

I had my 34 week checkup and sono. Yeah! Finally made it to 34weeks! Baby A is 5lbs 12oz and baby B is 5lbs 2oz and both continuing to do really well. Last week my cervix had begun to dilate to 1 cm and effaced 90%. My doctor was certain that I would go into labor but I am still here and holding out. No changes in my cervix. Just taking it day by day.

 

I had my weekly appointment yesterday. My NST was great, boys were nice and reactive. Their heart rates were 136 and 146. I actually have lost the 3 pounds I had gained last week, so now my total weight gain for the whole pregnancy has been 16 pounds. My fundal height is 47 cm. I go back next week for u/s, ob apt., and NST.

 

I had my OB appt and NST today. Everything is going well with both babies. I am 36 weeks and 4 days. Both babies are head down. Have set an induction date for May 5th. Cinco de Mayo! That will put me at 38 weeks and 3 days. We shall see if I make it that far, but I would love to have that as their birthday. I told DH about the induction being scheduled but haven't told anyone else in our families (or friends) yet. Is this something we should keep to ourselves, to make it like more of a surprise? I guess we will have to have ourselves a little chat tonight.

I also had my OB and NST appointment. I thought for sure he was gonna wanna do an internal, but he didnt. He said that if Im still pregnant when I see him again April 30, he will book my induction for the first week of may. Possibly cinco de mayo? lol
My NST took 2 hours today. They just couldnt get the babies to stay in one spot long enuff to get the readings they needed. I go to my last Ultrasound appointment tomorrow at 11 just to make sure they are still growing and aren't needing to come out a little earlier. not much longer now!!

 

Let's see, in 2.5hrs I have my high risk ultrasound--to check babies weight, etc.. I've been up since 4am--GRRR! it sucks not being able to sleep at night, tossing, turning, bathroom, babies moving..maybe they've turned, who knows..
And tomorrow I have to go into the docs office at 8am to do the 3hr glucose test and at 1130 I see my regular OB...will let everyone know how it goes..

 

just get back from Dr office.
and I am alittle upset. my OB told me NO CHANCE for VBAC only c-section because I had previous c-section and twins this time....
I was hopping to the VBAC. He schedule the date for 6/30. otherwise everything is good

Everything went well at the appointments yesterday.

The girls are doing great.
Baby A 2lbs 3oz hb 142 tranverse
Baby B 2lb 8oz hb 140 transverse
Cervix still good (last check on that!!! ), blood pressure good.

Baby A has flipped over so her head is now to on the left side and Baby B is still head to the right.

I also had my GD test yesterday, I don't anticipate any problems though since I have never had a problem with any previous pregnancy.

 

Isabella is HEAD DOWN, hopefully she will stay that way!! Jackson weighs 6 lbs 1 oz and Isabella is 6 lbs. Both are doing well, they did see a little extra fluid around Jackson's kidney but she said she is not concerned.

 

Had my 34 week appt. I gained 2 lb in the last 2 weeks. I'm now 29 lbs. I measured 43 centimeters... The doctor wants to wait to see how long the twins will go but not past 38 weeks. I'm sooooo misrable. I also had my NST and everything looked good. The babies kept moving & knocking the monitors off so it was a fun hour for the tech having to reposition the monitors! I had 7 contractions during the hour. I didn't know what some of the contractions felt like. So, now I know and have been having them quite a bit. Next Wed I go to my doctor again, another NST, and Thursday I'll have my growth u/s again. I'm sooooooooooooooo ready for these babies to come out. There's just no more room anymore and when they move around (even though I love it) it hurts now...
