This Week's Appointments 2/23-27

This is our weekly appointment thread for the week of February 23-27. Please reply here and let us know any appointments you have this week. Don't forget to come back and update us on how the appointment went. Good luck at all appointments.

 

Good Morning

I have a doc's appt today at 1pm. My last one until I see my OB. It'll be interesting to see how much weight I've gained now that the meds work and I can keep food down :lol:

I have my 19week Ultrasound on Wed. Hopefully we'll be able to find out the sexes!!

 

I have my extensive U/S with the peri tommorrow.

At my 18wk OB check everything looked good and at the u/s we found out we are having girls!!

 

I have my OB appointment tomorrow evening. Will be getting results from GD test. But since I didn't hear from them before tomorrow I'm assuming that I passed it.

 

I am just a mere 13 weeks pregnant! Just had a regular OB checkup today, took blood pressure, and heard the heartbeat. She said it was very strong, which I agree. Why can you only hear one heartbeat (with the little doppler machine they use, not ultra sound). They told me you could only hear one for awhile.
That is kind of scary, knowing "Ok, one is doing well?" Or do you think the heartbeats combine?
By the way, I am having Identicals, Di-Mo twins!
I have gained 3 pounds...total. At my last appt, I had lost weight. I am trying to eat constantly, but its hard to keep up with these babies!

My appt today.... Gained TEN POUNDS lmao Heard the babies heart beats on the Doppler... Baby A's 152, Baby B's 156. I haven't told dh yet... we have 2 dd's now I think we may be on our way to 4!

Went for my regular OB visit today. Everything is fine and I got the eviction date March 9th. Woohoo the end is near now.

 

Have my next OB appt on thursday, excited to see the lil ones again! Have to get my blood work done again though because apparently my aids test was "inconclusive." Anyone else ever have that happen? My OB says she isn't concerned at all and that it sometimes happens, go figure.

 

had an u/s today and everything is good. One baby is right side up, the other is breech. They also have hair ( well, at least one does for sure ). Cervix is still at 3.82cm. Apparently all my pains and discomforts are normal.

i will be going back tomorrow for my diabetes test and to check urine, since they found protien in it today and i'm dehydrated.

That's what happened at my 10 week, it was a strong little sucker, but my feeling was it was the nearest while the other was on the bottom. When do you have your Ultra Sound so you can see both heartbeats? I read somewhere the heartbeats can sound like one.
Did you see the fused membrane on the ultrasound? What did your look like? They said at 11 w 6 days it still maybe too soon to tell and we'd have to wait to be sure if they were identical sharing the same membrane but with different aminosacs. This is all very confusing to me!
Have you been sick?
I've been really sick and lost 15 lbs in the first 3 mos because my Bionic nose turned all food off for me. But now I'm almost back to normal, about 3 lbs over normal and my stomach is burning with hunger ever hour it seems like. I can get reallly shaky too.
I bring literally bags of potatoe chips, ziploc baggies of carrots, snap peas, and gallon jugs of juice with me in the car because when your hungry You gotta eat!!!!
Isn't this the strangest experience of your life so far? It's tripping me out!!!
Boys or Girls?

 

I have an appt. this Thursday, I am 17 weeks pregnant. This will be my first appt. since I found out it was twins! I wonder what my doc will say or do, since he was unaware I was having twins (we found out at our 13 week ultrasound for nuchal translucency)! I have a long list of questions for him!!! I will let you all know how it goes!

I also wonder about weight gain.... I was about 30 pounds overweight when I conceived and have gained approx. 7 pounds to date. I eat a lot though.....

 

I have OB on Thursday (Peri next Monday) for ultrasound. Anxious to see if Baby A is vertex yet! She keeps moving back and forth even this late in the game.

The U/S went very well yesterday. Everything looked good according to the peri. Both girls are weighing 10 ounces, fluids looked good, heart rates were 160 Baby A & 155 Baby B. Cervix still measuring 5 and we are rolling along nicely.

I have gained about 20 pounds so far!!!! I am going to be a cow before this all done but the doctor didn't seem too concerned. Hopefully I won't continue gaining that much.

AFM - I had my OB appointment last night too. I have gained 4 pounds and she said my weight gain is perfect, blood pressure perfect. Passed my GD test with flying colors. She did the fundal measurement for the first time yesterday and I'm measuring at 34 cm's/weeks. Yikes, I'm almost 27 weeks. I'm going to be huge.

 

Just started my 33rd week, seeing peri tomorrow for an ultrasound to see how the babes are doing. Very excited! Hoping they are both growing and on target. My OB check in last week indicated I gained 11 pounds in less than 2 weeks!! yikes! Mostly water weight, though, as my legs are swelling terribly. Anybody else get this? So uncomfortable, my legs feel like i've run a marathon. Aches and soreness but I hear this is all normal.

 

wheres the list of acronym defintions at? I can't believe how ignorant i feel at not being able to decipher dh, or dd. HElp!

 

Ob appt yesterday and everything is still going well. Passed GD test, but iron was low. Measuring 33 weeks. I have gained 40lbs! Doc is pleased I am doing so well.

Well, Baby A still breech. Looks like c-section is inevitable. That's okay - everything else is good. She said babies looks to be in the 6 lb range and the peri will confirm the best estimate on Monday. Still planning on morning c-section March 10th. She could see them breathing which is very good. We are very happy and cannot believe we are this close to meeting them!

 

Had my 27 week appt. this week. Baby A was now breech and baby B was vertex. They keep switching around on me. Today, it feels like they are both vertex, felt lots of pushes and kick up high on my belly and little swirls down below. I've gained 18 lbs total so this is how I was when I delivered my daughter. Let's see how I feel in a couple of weeks! I see the peri in 2 weeks. Heartbeats are 138 and 144. Not finding out what they are until they are delivered...

 

Went to see the Peri today...Baby A vertex, Baby B breech. HR 155 and 159. I go back in 2 weeks for a growth scan.
Also went to see my OB today...my BP was high, 154/95 layed on my side for a while and there wasn't much change. She wrote me an excuse for work to limit me to sitting only. I'm huge...I'm 21 weeks but measuring 32. She thinks that I may be done working by 28 weeks. I've gained 6 lbs for a total of 19 (29 if you ask me). I go back to her in 4 weeks.
