My daughter has her ob appointment with ultrasound today. She is 36 weeks tomorrow and I am very anxious to see what the ultrasound estimates the weights of the babies. I am so proud of her for making it to 36 weeks!

My 37w appointment is 12/31. My OB is on vacation so I'll be seeing his partner ... and asking all the questions I didn't think to ask my OB last week when we scheduled my induction for 1/6! (Still really praying I go into labor on my own before then--today would be great, actually. ;))

Amber just called me after her ultrasound, and she said Baby A weighs 5 lbs 9 oz. and Baby B is 4 lbs. 4 oz. I didn't say as much to her but I'm worried about the difference in size. She did say that Baby A is laying on Baby B and the tech said it was hard to accurately measure Baby B. Has anyone else had this experience? I've read lots of posts on here saying how inaccurate the measurements are, so I'm trying not to freak out about this. She also said Baby A was measuring at 36 weeks, and Baby B was like 33-34 weeks. I'm just hoping it's because of their inability to accurately measure Baby B. (Both boys are in their own sacs with their own placentas). She also mentioned that she might not get to see the doctor today, as he was called to the hospital for a birth. Please help assure me that this is normal, and not to freak out, or give me some advice to encourage her to do something.

I had an appointment today. All is going well, apparently. This was just a short visit with no u/s, so I can't wait to get another ultrasound in a couple of weeks. :) Nana2three; my last u/s baby A was measuring at 4.6 and baby B was 4.15. My Dr said not to worry, and your absolutely right; u/s measurements are not always accurate. Also remember that your gsons are probably frat, and could have normal sibling size difference.

Thank you azucena for your words of encouragement...I feel better after I actually talked to her..she said the babies were 5 lbs. 9 oz. and 4 lbs. 15 oz....better than I thought.

Appointment was yesterday! 3 hours~ U/S are getting tough to fully measure the girls now. A is 2lb 2 oz and B is 3lb 3 oz! NST was a joke, both babies are high up and transverse, had to NST them seperatly, they pushed around so hard I felt beat up when I left! Dr said I can go to the hospital without NICU and that as long as I pass 34 weeks I can have them there and expect no NICU stay!! WHoo HOOO

Good luck to everyone at their appts this week!

I had a growth and fluid check with the peri yesterday. Both girls are about 1 1/2 lbs each and their fluid looks great! They both have been doing really well so far, which makes Mommy (and Daddy too!) very happy!

I had a ultrasound today. They said more than likely identical. Looks to only be one placenta and separating membrane so thin you can barely see it. Both had heartbeats of 172 and measuring only .4mm apart. They are laying one on top of the other and facing the same way, the tech said "it's so cute, like they are on bunk beds". Kicking and jumping away. I feel better after today. I made it to 12 weeks 3 days this time. Almost the second trimester. YAY!!!

    Happy Birthday Boog9902!! :birthday:

My appt today was good, I've gained weight...20lbs total so far, but my OB didn't say anything about it. ;) Baby A heartrate was 170 and Baby B was 150. And the most exciting news, well at least to me because I've had so many problems lately, my BP was 127/70!!! I did have a little protien in my urine from the 24hr test that I took, but none today. She said that they would just use that as a baseline for later on down the line if my BP should happen to go up anymore.

Next appt with the Peri on 1/22

Well after being released from my 3 day hospital stay yesterday...I am soooo done with appt/hospitals. I do have a NST on friday, just praying that it doesn't end up with another admission again. Bedrest at home is so much better.

I had my 32 weeks appt today and Baby A weighs 3.9 pounds and Baby B 3.6 pounds. Both babies are head down! :good: Dr. says Im a good canidate for a vaginal delivery. I pray that they will both stay head down. I know that anything can happen from now till delivery. But Im trying to stay positive. I'm so scared to have a C section. So, I see Dr. back in another 2 weeks.

I wrote about this in a separate post, but my 37w appt went pretty well. (Other than a little extra weight gain from all those holiday snacks! Good thing I gained nothing the previous week. ;))

    * Baby B is finally vertex again!! (He has flipped 3 times since 31 weeks!)
    * The boys both got 8/8 on their BPPs.
    * I'm dilated to a 2, maybe a 3, and he said my cervix is favorable and he thinks I'll be plenty ready for my induction on the 6th if I don't go into labor before then!

The only weird thing is, at the 35w appt the boys' estimated weights were 5lbs12oz and 5lbs7oz; this time they were both 5lbs11oz. (I wrote more about that in a separate post, wondering if I should be concerned.)

[SIZE=8pt]I had an OB appt today with a growth sonogram, I am 29 wks, 3 days. The babies are both doing well and growing pretty evenly and consistently, thank goodness. Baby A is 3 lbs 2 oz and and is breech and higher, his head is across my ribcage and on the right side, almost between baby B's legs. Baby B is 3 lbs and 6 oz, head down and pretty low. He is obviously taking up more room and making himself comfortable and baby A is just having to fit in around him as best he can! Both babies fluid levels look fine right now too and my blood pressure is good, thankfully. One baby's heartrate is 130 and one is 136...I had my glucose test today and should get results in a few days. I go back in 2 1/2 weeks for another growth scan (I have them every time because it looks like there is only one placenta but there are two sacs with a VERY thin membrane) and to see my regular OB. I had my 26 week appointment on 12/31 and I am measuring 36 weeks according to the fundal height. I also had my one hour glucose screen, which I failed so I have to go back on 1/13 for the three hour fasting test. Ugh! I knew I would fail though because I was shaky after drinking the sugary drink.

had my weekly appt today... was very curious to see if i've dilated more than the 1 cm that i was back at 31 weeks since my contractions have been more frequent and stronger over the past two days... am just over 1 cm dilated and completely ephased. doc said that when my contractions come regularly it won't take long! yea!!! i am soooo ready... our induction date is set for 1/15/08 if i don't go in before then...
