This Week's Appointments 12/17-21

This is our appointment thread for the week of Dec. 117-21. Post any appointments you have here and don't forget to let us know how they went.

I have an obgyn and u/s appointment tommorow and hoping and praying the boys are a good weight and healthy. I am always a nervous wrech the day before u/s worrying about the babies (baby B is so quite lately). I am also hoping the doc and I can finally discuss birthing plans and what to expect next.

35 weeks

 

Had 29 week ultrasound today. Baby boy is 3 pounds 8 ounces and baby girl is 3 pounds even. yeah! Keep growing!!!

 

Cerlage consultation on 12-17 @ 2:00
Reg OB on the 20th (but we will see how the consultation goes)

 

I see my OB this week on the 19th. I am praying we see both twins there, still.

 

Busy week for me:
- Tuesday I have the 3 hour glucose test, as I was borderline on the 1 hour two weeks ago. Fasting from tonight will be difficult as per dietician advise, I've been eating every 2 hours when not asleep since week 10!
- Wednesday I have a detailed u/s for a twin research study I am in.
- Thursday I have my bi-weekly appointment with my OBGYN.

 

Have an u/s and visit with my ob on the 19th, Wednesday. Will be great to see the boys again. Can't wait to see how much bigger they have gotten

I have my level 2 on Thursday and a regular OB appt Friday! SO....thursday I should know for sure if we are having both girls or if my prayers have been answered and I get a boy in there too!! either way I am so excited to see how big they have gotten now that I can feel them :banana:

 

tomorrow (18th) I have a peri appt. for an ultrasound to look at baby A's heart. I am confident that everything is okay.

Thursday (20th), I have a growth scan u/s at the regular OBs office. No midwife was available for the appt. so I am seeing one of the OBs for the first time since the first tri!!!

 

busy week for me! Tuesday i have a prenatal appt-going to see if the hospital tech took any gender shots of my u/s then :giggle: but my big u/s is the next day anyways i pray they co-operate! and huge prayers everything is going great and what they are talking about being "wrong" with my placenta?

 

tomorrow I have a gender u/s to see what we are having hopefully this one will show and tell as much as their big sisters did!

 

Update: well my Cerclage consultation has equaled a Friday (12/21) date to have a cerclage …
No longer do I have an appointment on the 20th for my reg ob

I have my 20 week u/s, this is the first one they are doing to check their anatomy, on friday the 21st and my OB apt. right after.

 

I have a 28w check up on 12/20.

I had a NST today (Monday)
Thursday I have an NST & OB appt after.

hopefully I see a different doctor and can schedule that c-section for the 26th!! muahaha!!!
Cause everything looked awesome today at the NST and it looks like I am not gonna be going into labor anytime soon!!!

 

U/S an doc update.

Both boys are doing well, each are approximattly 5.5 lbs with good hb etc and both are head down (no cervix check). The doc does not have a plan for us, just to take it day by day and when I am in labour go to L/D. I am measuring 40+ so he expects them to come soon, he is betting next week (when he is on vacation). So my job know is to relax and decide if it is c/s or vaginal delivery. I don't know what to do..these babies are my first and due to bedrest I was not able to take any birthing classes.
I am getting nervous...........

Update from peri appt: Baby A's heart looks just fine--no worries on either baby, both boys look great! They reiterated that I could go into labor at any time, and suggested that I pay careful attention to my body over the next week and note anything out of the ordinary.

 

I have a fetal stress test this Wednesday followed by an OB appointment.

 

I had another appointment yesterday with the peri...girls measure 11oz each, and they say they look OK right now for MOMO twins....Any other MOMO twins out there?
