I have a big ultrasound tomorrow in the hospital - and they called last week to see if a group of students could join us. It's a teaching hospital, so I knew this could happen, but I'm extra excited because I'm sure they will make it a long appointment. My doctor there has 4D technology and we already took a peek at the 14 week u/s, but we should be able to see a lot more tomorrow - yay!!

I had an appt yesterday, it went like this.

9am - NST, babies looking good
1000- U/S with BPP, babies passed with flying colors....Baby A is 3lb 8oz, Baby B is 3lb 12oz and both were practice breathing like champs
1130- Dr Appt, BP still high (147/98) and still have protein in urine, kidney function looking a little better. I did get steroid shots, but they weren't so bad . Doctor was a little more optimistic about making it to 34 wks.
Next Monday will be the same all over again, justing added bloodwork to the mix. It was a long morning but I am SO happy I get to come home...

Here are pics of my boys, they both had their hands up near their chins, the tech thought she got pics of the same baby, but one is vertex and the other breech so easy to get separate shots.

My daughter has an ob appointment on Thursday. She has a scheduled ultrasound, and NST. She spent some time at L&D yesterday, and they had the babies on the monitors, so I'm not sure if she will have the NST on Thursday or not. She has a Terb shot yesterday to stop her labor, and the doctor wants her to go a couple of more weeks. We're anxious to see the baby weights at the ultrasound.

I have my OB appointment tonight and I'm going to beg and plead to schedule an u/s (hopefully by the end of this week) to find out what the twins are.

I had my NST testing and all is well! I had high bp, protein in urine and contractions but that seemed to not be a problem for anyone. Have another appt on Friday.

We had our 24 week appointment today and everything went great. We had a growth u/s and Baby A is 1lb. 11oz. measuring 24 weeks 6 days and Baby B is 1lb. 9oz. measuring 24 weeks 1 day. The heartbeats were 132 and 150 respectively. I have gained about 16 pounds so far. Next appointment is a glucose test and regular check up.

Hello Ladies. Sorry I didn't post earlier, but I had a meeting to go to this morning and it didn't get out until 12. I really need to buy myself some boots, my feet are wet and freezing. I hate having wet feet. Ok, my appointment. After the 2 1/2 hour drive (normally 1 hour) to get there we got to my appointment a half hour late, but they still saw me. With the storm I guess they had a lot of late comers and call offs. We got to hear both h/b's this time. It was very neat. Both babies are doing great. I have to get my quad screening done. I'll go to the lab on Saturday and take care of that. But I won't be able to find out what we are having until after the New Year. The OB told me that the insurance won't pay for 2 u/s if they are too close together and the level II u/s is very expensive. But I will be just over 20 weeks at that time so I will be able to find out for sure. Oh well, great way to start off the new year. The OB was very happy with my weight. I actually lost a pound and a half since my last appointment 4 weeks before. I don't know how, because I am eating all the time. LOL. Ok, now for personals.

Amber had her appointment today.....we are expecting an ice storm to go through later this morning, so she went in early and they did a quick ultrasound on her. They didn't measure or anything, just looked at the fluid of both babies and that they are active, etc. Her cervix is still at a 1, so her bedrest is working, although she is still occasionally having contractions. She will return to the dr. next Monday, at 34 weeks 6 days.
