My 36 week appointment is on Friday. I'll actually be 36+1 weeks. We're doing an amnio to check lung maturity on both babies and as long as that is good we'll continue on with my c-section next Wednesday!! :woohoo:

I had my 30-week appointment this morning. Overall it went well. My cervix has shortened over the past month from 4.6 to 3.9 (2 weeks ago) to 3.1, so not ideal but oh well.
The boys both seem to be doing well. A is measuring 3 lbs 9 oz, B at 3 lb 11 oz (the first time he's measured bigger than his brother!). They did BioPhysical Profiles during the ultrasound, apparently, and they are both lookng good. Also glad to find out my iron level is back up over 11.0 (they put me on iron supps at the last visit).

Only bad news is B is now breech. :( I am really hoping he does decide to flip again!

I have my 27wks checkup in one hour, I am currently drinking the glucola (yummm :bad: ) for my GTT. Hoping I pass!!! I also have to get my mini-Rhogam today...nothing like a poke in the arm and a shot in the butt to complete one's day...

Saw the chiropractor today. (about 2-3 times a week) That always feels good. :D
Wednesday I have my 33 week OB appmt and will be going weekly from now on. Anybody know when they start checking a cervix for thinning and stuff in an "uncomplicated" twin pregnancy? I also have an ultrasound the same day. Will update....

My 28 week appt is on Friday. I also have a US that day. We had an emergency US last week Thursday because I couldn't feel one of my girls moving. All is well though. The cords are still just loosely entangled as of then.

Tomorrow I have a consultation scheduled with the OB I am considering switching to. I've heard really good things about him so I am optimistic!

AFM - I went for my appointment last night and we were able to hear one of the babies heartbeats, but the other baby was being stubborn so the OB did a quick u/s (sorry no picture) and the stubborn baby was bouncing around like a pin ball machine. It was hysterical. One baby was just kind of lying there chillin out and you could see the whole profile and the other very active one you could only see his head and it was just so funny watching him bounce around like that. DH got to finally see them too and he thought it was so neat. (I don't actually know the babies sexes yet, but for some reason I keep calling the bouncy one he and the profile chill one she) Well back to work and talk to you all later.

I know this post is a day late..but here is how my appt went:
Still 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. A little protein in my urine. BP was 132/86. Only gained one lb (after i thought I had gained 15 according to my broken scale...so that was the only time i was happy to weigh in!!). Doc says I can get off of bed rest at 35 weeks! Talked about when to schedual my induction day if I make it, Will be Jan 7 or 8. Did ultrasound and found that baby A who has been head down since 20 weeks has decided to go feet first! At least he is out of my cevix and I have less pressure ( I am hoping that will help stop effacment and dilation but other doc says that doesnt have an effect on my cervix..dont see how it helps to have a head pushing down on the cervix the whole time!) Baby B is still head down. I am excited to hear I can be off of bed rest in 4 more weeks! There is a light at the end of the dark, lonely tunnel! I am excited now that I am approaching the end!! It seems so close now I can taste it! :p

Today I went for my 32 week appt. I was in there and out very fast. Gained 2.5 lbs, putting my weight loss at -4.5lbs now. Strange how my weight keeps fluctuating. BP was good 106/60. A little low but no concerns. Twin A Kelsey is still head down but Twin B Ryley flipped to breech again! He was head down last time. I wish this boy will flip back head down and stay down!

I have the greatest OB though! He says that if he doesn't flip and stays breech he will go ahead and let me attempt the vaginal delivery that I want since this isn't my first pregnancy. After Twin A is delivered he says he can try to turn him and that he has does this many times. If not, he will try a breech extraction, if it doesn't work then C-section would be our next option. I pray he will flip back to head down though.

He says I am doing great. This Pregnancy has been very uneventful and I feel so blessed that my little ones are still cooking!

Hope you don't mind me asking, why do you need an amnio?

    UPDATE FROM MY APPT TODAY

The girls are doing great and both are about 3.8LBS which is awesome. Emmalee(A) is breech now(crazy because she was vertex just a week ago). Aubrey(B) is vertex. Emmalee's HB was 146 and Aubrey's was 153. We got to watch Emmalee yawn a whole bunch. She would move and then yawn. It was cute. Aubrey kept trying to get away from the probe pressing on my belly. Both of their heads already measure 28.8cm! Vyn's head was 34cm. So even at 32 weeks they will be decent sized. We got to watch them breath too. I got a little sick during the US though since they had me on my back. I felt really nauseous and was super hot and sweaty. So after she got all the measurments they wiped me down with cold clothes and then I went to the bathroom and splashed water on my face and got something to drink and started getting cold. Then I got to lay on my left side and felt much better.

I got my flu shot since I would have to have it to go into the NICU anyways. I felt sort of light headed afterward but nothing bad. Found out my GBS was 134 out of 140. So not too bad. BP was good too like always. Cervix is 3.4cm. I am measuring at 42 weeks so I'm getting a lot bigger now. So all in all everything is good. I signed the paper for a tubal and pre-registered today also. I go back on the 3rd for a routine checkup and then every week after that. We will decide the week after the 3rd on a date since I will have another US then so we can see how they are doing and all and then I will probably start my steroid injections.

Roughly 4 weeks left until these little angels make their appearance.

Congrats! I loved that appt when you can see them moving around like crazy! I also had one moving around and one chillin'. I called them both "shes" (though as soon as I saw that one kicking around I knew they were boys!) until I got the 100% confirmation of boys! They are identical so I knew it was all or nothing! IT would be great to have one of each though! Good luck!
