I just got back from a 10 week appointment (I am still seeing the fertility Dr) The babies look and heartbeats sound great (167bpm) They were moving around, we saw their legs, feet, arms and hands. The Dr pointed out the spine, kidneys and bladder!!! Baby A is right in view, Baby B a little harder to see.
They grew so much from the 7 week appointment.

Still on progesterone pills, but most likely only for another week. I will be seeing my regular OB/Gyn next week. So glad things are going well so far....I just wish the morning (all day) sickness would let up!!

I had my appt earlier today. Its the first one since coming out of the hospital for ptl and now we are starting to have my appts every week and give me nonstress tests.
No contractions on the moniters, just once they took them off. Still measuring 38 weeks but that's caust he said I don't have any room to grow out in front, now I'm growing wider! My bp was kinda high as was my pulse but that's due to the brethene. He said he's going to keep me on it for 2 more weeks and I'll be 35 weeks which he considers full-term. He thinks that I should go into labor soon after that and if not he'll brake my water at 37weeks. I'm getting scared and nervous realizing how close I am to having these boys!! I guess anxious is the word. Lol

I have my last bi-weekly appointment (plus sonogram) tomorrow. After this appointment, I will have weekly appointments (with sonograms). My OB wants to make sure that my contractions don't turn into labor any time soon. He tends to like to be overly cautious, rather than leave things to chance. I like my OB a LOT. He's awesome! I wish everyone had an OB like mine. He never rushes me out the door--he actually sits and chats with my DH like they are good buddies! It's great!0

Tomorrow I will have another FFN (fetal fibronectin for those unfamiliar with the acronym) test to make sure I'm not going to go into labor any time in the next two weeks. The last two FFNs of course have been negative. Woo-hoo!

Can't wait to find out how much the girls weigh now. Last time (2 weeks ago) Zoe was 1 lb. 12 oz. and Payton was 1 lb. 14 oz.

Hope everyone has great appointments this week!

AFM - Had my appointment yesterday and the babies are measuring right size for my due date. Happy to hear that. She wants me to try and only gain 1/2 a pound a week. I only gained 2 pounds since my last appointment so it may not be 1/2 a pound but more like a pound a week. But I still think that is pretty good for twins. The OB told me that when I'm 5 months I will go to Loyola Medical center for a Level 2 u/s to make sure that the babies are doing good and their will be some more tests that I have to have, b/w and stuff. But so far things are going just fine with the twins.

I had my 32 week appointment today and it went well. Our little boy (baby A) is weighing approximately 4 lbs 3-4 oz and our little girl (baby B) is weighing approximately 3 lbs 15 oz. The DR was very happy with their weights. Their heartrates were 154 and 150, cervical length was about 4cm, my blood pressure was 114/78 (went down again!), and somehow I lost a 1/2 lb in a week rather than gained any (is that OK??). We also did a NST today and I had a couple little contractions that they didn't really seem to pay attention to (just said uterine irritability) and I had one good contraction. The babies heartrates responded really well to them so that was good. :) The babies haven't moved positions either - so Baby A is still breech and Baby B is still transverse up by my ribs. C-Section here I come. My next appointment is next Wednesday.

Today I had my 29 week Ultrasound and growth scan. Babies look great. Kelsey was head down and Ryley head up. They will continue to flip around until 32 weeks or so before they will finally pick a position. Here are their stats.

    Twin A: Kelsey
    Heart Rate: 141 bpm
Weight: 2lbs 12oz Wow! She gained 1lb in 4 wks. Yay!

    Twin B: Ryley
    Heart Rate: 153 bpm
    Weight: 2lbs 6oz He gained 11oz in 4 weeks.

The two were only one ounce apart 4 weeks ago and now are 6 oz apart an 11% discordinance. Doctor said that is fine, as long as the discordinance is less than 20% than it is nothing to worry about

I am bumbed out cuz I couldn't get any pics. They were both being stubborn and wouldn't show their faces.

Hopefully next time I can get some pics!!
