Had a regular ob appt this morning. I am 20w1d and measuring 25 weeks. Heartbeat for the boy was 152 and for our girl 160. All is well and will see her in two weeks and see the peri again in two weeks. Half way done!!!!!!

I am having a follow up ultrasound tomorrow to check on the status of the subchorionic hematoma. Hopefully it's gone. I am also hoping that they'll be able to confirm that we are having two boys. At 13 weeks the tech thought it was two boys but couldn't be sure yet. I'm 16 1/2 weeks now so I think they should be able to tell.

    My SCHEDULED appts are:

    *10:00 level II u/s w/ peri

*2:30 fetal echos with perinatal cardiologist

The echos are contingent upon my level II. If it shows that we meet criteria then we'll be headed to surgery on Wednesday. If criteria is not met then I will go to my scheduled echo, and then meet both the peri and cardiologist again next week.

I had my weekly u/s yesterday. I'm 22 weeks with mono/di twins, 1 with IUGR. Thankfully, nothing has changed, and my smaller twin has still got a reasonable, albeit abnormal, dopppler flow. If it had worsened, then the specialist would be asking us to think about lasering his blood supply to save his brother. Thankfully, this is not the case. Growth scan next week so it will be interesting to see how much their gap has widened.

I have my OB appt tonight at 5pm.

My appointment went very well. The twins are doing great. The baby on my right side has a heartrate of 145 and the baby on my left side has a heartrate of 133. Next week is my level II u/s and also hopefully if they cooperate to find out the sexes.

I had my follow up Level 2 ultrasound yesterday (23w5d) --> all was normal. Baby A - 1 lb 10 oz HR 148; Baby B - 1 lb 6 oz HR 145. 15% weight difference so no concerns, all else looked good.

Last night I started having some unusual discharge (compared to rest of pregnancy) so just got back from the OB's office. Everything is fine. No amniotic fluid so probably just an increase in normal discharge. Had a quick U/S and plenty of amniotic fluid seen.

I feel so much better now that so I won't be worrying until my regular appt on 1/20.

Hi all, trying to post here more often I have a fetal echo and measurement check u/s this friday the 9th. Because of a positive quad test they are checking to make sure they have healthy hearts and no markers for Downs. They are also checking for signs of ttts baby A has been a bit smaller than her sister. So I am a bit nervous this a a very big appt. for us we are just praying for all good news.

I went to my apt. today and feel like I actually know less than I did before! During my first u/s the dr. said they look like they are sharing a placenta and therefore identical. Today she said she can't tell and it could go either way! But both babies are doing perfectly so it doesn't matter really, I just am anxious to know more about them!

I go in to see my MFM on Thursday. I'll be 22w6d. I expect to have an ultrasound & hopefully to choose the day I'll be admitted to the hospital for monitoring my momo twins.

Went in for a level 2 u/s today.

Baby A is 1.5lbs and doing perfectly. Good fluid, good flow to his brain, heart is excellent...is doing very well.

Baby B is 1.2lbs and also structurally doing very well except he is still having arterial cord bloodflow restriction, and his abdomen is measuring smaller than baby A's. Tomorrow i go in to see my ob and am going to be transferred to a high risk peri specialist at another hospital. So, no more ob and i will be delvering at a different hospital than i thought i would.

Told the peri about my almost passing out and seeing flashing lights, so after the u/s she sent me to L&D for bloodwork, urine and BP check. 2 hours later i find out the urine is perfect, the BP machine alarm went off cause my BP dropped to 94/46 ( normal for me ), and the blood showed i am extremely anemic even though i take an extra iron every day.

All in all not too bad, and came away with about 12 u/s pics that my DH has been carrying around with him and won't let go of. :D

My ultrasound went well. The babies are both growing nicely. The tech I had for this u/s was not the same as for the first and I was a little bummed. This girl didn't give me any information or let me look at the screen all that much. I had to ASK everything. She says she can't say for certain they are in two sacs anymore, in my first u/s the other tech said the were in two. She said she only saw one placenta but that didn't mean it wasn't two fused together. One baby is measuring 2 days behind the other and the heartbeats were 159 & 152 (she didn't even tell me which one was behind or which heartrate was which!) I would've asked during the scan but I guess I thought she was going to turn the screen at some point and start telling me like the other tech did then boom we were done! She couldn't tell the sex of either baby yet. The link is to a picture of the first scan at 9 weeks showing a thin bubble around each baby which I would think and the other tech thought indicated two sacs. That's another thing.....I didn't get a single picture of from this scan.

Those look separate to me. Did she do an abdominal u/s today or a transvag? When we were confirming mono/do over momo, they couldn't see any separation with the abdominal so they switched to transvag. It was VERY clear with that one. I was about 10 and a half wks, I think--it's in my information at the end of this post.

She did the abdominal first then the transvag and said she really couldn't tell either way. I am hoping I have the tech I had with my first for my next one b/c she was much more informative and thorough. She only did the transvag for like 2 minutes and then said, "Nope, can't really tell that way either." I am really hoping they have their own sacs. Are your babies sacs really thin as well? Thanks for replying!

I had my peri appt with ultrasound on Wed, Jan 7th. VERY EXCITED!!! Both babies have been transverse and still were when I visited my OB on Fri, Jan 2. BUT, Baby A made a major move and as of Weds was nestled head down into my pelvic cavity - WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doctor is cautiously optimistic - saying Baby A looks pretty comfortable and wedged - most likely in her final position. I am 30 weeks on Tuesday and my OB said she will deliver vaginally as long as Baby A is vertex so I am super excited and actually cried in the ultrasound. Anyway, cervix measuring strong at 4 1/2 cm and Baby A coming in at 2 lbs, 15 oz with 158 heartbeat while Baby B is coming in at 2 lbs, 12 oz with a 154 heartbeat. I was anemic so I have been on iron but feeling great. Now if I can just get that darn nursery done!

Hmmm, then I don't know :) When she started with the abdominal one and couldn't see the dividing membranes I was so sad. She went to the transvag and it was immediately seen at that point. I have a GREAT picture of their two separate amnions but I'm having scanner issues. My guess (bc I didn't ask) is that is is thin bc I've had a hard time finding it at my frequent u/s sometimes.
