Hello, I have a question regarding modding.

In this case, MTL Media released its own patch including several custom zones, a High Elf zone, the fully explorable Ruins of Lordaeron, etc. The thing is, someone told me that porting and converting the patch and placing it as a mod can be seen as hacking. Is that correct?
It is not a mod to obtain benefits or anything, it just adds more explorable areas in-game, I wanted to know if it can count as hacking, if so, I will give up on it.

I see it’s been a while since anyone posted here, but I just wanted to ask—has anyone tried mixing in some lesser-used professions like cooking into their RP for flavor and immersion? Feels like it could add some fun depth to a character. Also curious if any guilds still run RP events tied to specific professions or trades—would love to join something like that.

Nah, that doesn't really sound like hacking to me. If you're just adding new areas and not giving yourself crazy advantages or breaking the game for others, it's more like a cool custom mod. Kinda like how some folks use undetectable valorant aimbot to test stuff or mess around. As long as you're not using it to gain unfair stuff online, you're probably good. Just double-check the modding rules to be safe.
