I guess I ended up SO miserable when I was pg with the twins that I really expected this pregnancy to be a breeze. So all of a sudden I hit 24 weeks and I can't bend over any more, I wake up every night with leg cramps, and I'm so exhausted by the end of the day that it's all I can do to give the girls dinner and a bath and get them to bed before collapsing. Maybe it's just that I'm so preoccupied b/c I've got so much other stuff going on (mostly taking care of 2 2-year-olds) but I've really been caught off guard by getting uncomfortable in this pregnancy. I have to keep reminding myself "Hello Aubrey...you ARE six months pregnant!"

    Anyone else feeling like this?

I know.. I had a great twin pregnancy though, BUT I didn't have any kids, so I could sleep whenever I wanted to!

I have to go OT here.. I just LOVE your name "Aubrey." My twin sister came up with that name for my daughter when I was pregnant. Little did she know our name choice was very close!

Even though I had two pregnancies prior to my twins, I still feel the way you are feeling this time around! In some ways a singleton pregnancy is more difficult - I get a lot less sympathy for one thing!!! Also, you just have so MANY appointments with twins that I feel like I'm on my own and not being watched carefully enough (of course I am - I'm having a perfectly uncomplicated singleton pregnancy!) Also, because twins are usually born early, I am having a hard time still being pregnant!

Oh, I know what you mean. I am 21 weeks and thought the uncomfortableness would come later on. You know, I was never that uncomfortable with the twins. I only worked until 27 weeks (measured 30 at the time) but I had NO other responsibilities past that point...I just laid on the couch or hospital bed until I delivered. I can't imagine having to work, take care of 2 toddlers, etc. for that additional 13 weeks this time. OMG...what am I in for! LOL!!!

This baby is sitting REALLY low still and when I'm sitting in my chair at work and bend down to get something from a bottom drawer or on the floor, it's VERY uncomfortable for me and with working 2 jobs (2 days a week at 16 hours a day), I'm exhausted. I feel like I spend every spare minute trying to catch up on sleep.

So, we are right there with you!!! BTW, like JACkie said...I too Love the name Aubrey!! I wanted to consider that for this baby girl, but DH isn't on board with it. :(

I think every pg is just different. For me the first trimester was really horrible this pg. I had bleeding issues, and was having period like cramping every day for the first 12 weeks...along with intestinal distress b/c of my uterus being irritated...so I would say by far this pg had the worst 1st trimester. Then I had a really great stretch after getting off modified bedrest where it was such a breeze... now in the last 3 or 4 weeks I've definitely gotten a lot more aches and pains. Part of the issue I think is my dd's position..she has the back of her head facing my back, so I think it's causing me to have some back pain I don't normally get. Little stinker!
