Does any of you guys get really thirsty? I have been lately...I am on bed rest and just lay in bed. I drink a gal of water and still thirsty. This is in 4 hour time period, so I drink a 8oz Pepsi, almost a full bottle of Berry Juicy Juice and drink 32oz of sweet tea. This is in 3 hours and Ill drink almost 2 more gal of water before bed. I am urinating frequently and its almost completely clear....any suggestions?

When I'm pregnant, I literally can't drink enough water. I'm thirsty all. the. time. It's good though - your body needs the hydration! Your blood volume is significantly higher when you are pregnant. It just sucks because I end up spending half my day in the bathroom.

I was pretty thirsty too anytime I was pregnant. However, a drastic increase in thirst could be a sign of gestational diabetes. It probably isn't, but at your next dr appt you should mention that you've been incredibly thirsty, and how much you've been drinking, just so they are aware :)

I go through spurts during the day when I'm thirsty- usually afternoon or evening. I'll drink a glass of water while making dinner without realizing it then wonder where it went. I only realize I've drank it when I pick up an empty glass that I have to fill again. It's really weird. :)

Also, I agree with Danielle- be sure to mention it to the doc to rule out GD.

It's normal to be extra thirsty while pregnant, however I would be worried about Gestational diabetes like a previous post mentioned.

Very normal to be that thirsty. I drink a lot of water and have throughout this pregnancy. I'll second the GD thought though. I noticed that the drinks you listed have a lot of sugar in them, which I think can make one feel thirsty (as opposed to water). Because GD is more common in twin pregnancies, it's probably good to limit sugary drinks (sorry if that sounds annoying, but I've had to lay off the sugar to avoid problems myself), but you'll probably still need the two gallons of water a day! :)
