I get sudden gusts of wanting to drink gallons and gallons of water. Then, I feel so full and uncomfortable. Does anyone else feel like that? I don't feel like that all the time, but in the evenings, I just want to drink tons of water then I'm waking up every 1.5-2 hrs. to go pee!

Have your blood sugar checked-that can be a sign of gestational diabetes. (It's not that big of a deal if it is, but you want to have it looked after for sure!)

I was going to say the same thing as pp. Though sometimes at night it's hard, especially if you've stuffy and are breathing out of your mouth. I try to prop my pillows so that I don't get stuffed up and dream about ice water

Me too - I'm thirsty all the time! I've always drank a lot of water, but this is ridiculous!

I went through my whole pregnancy with that thirst. I did not have GD. It was just my body telling me I needed to stay hydrated. I would wake in the middle of the night parched! I would definately listen to your body despite the annoyance of having to get up and pee every hour. I gained minimal weight, had super healthy kids, my nurse was always telling me how good I was with my water intake and I lost my weight all in the 1st week post birth. Good luck to you!

Oh my gosh, the last 2 months of my pregnancy was full of unquenchable thirst. I drank so much water, at least 2-3 gallons a day plus all the ice I could eat and I was still thirsty. The best thing was when I went in to the hospital to deliver and they put in the IV and 4 bags of saline later I finally felt NOT THIRSTY!!

Keep chugging the water. . .
