So last month was my first clomid cycle... 50 mg days 6-10. My follicular u/s showed 3 follicles... two mature ones measuring 18 mm and one not so good one measuring 10 mm. My HcG at 9 dpo was 63 and my progesterone was 77. Then at 14 dpo HcG was 808 and progesterone was 86.

SO... I was supposed to go in next Tuesday at 6w2d for our viability u/s, but I was having sharp cramps Wed. So yesterday they brought me in at 5w4d to check for ectopic. NO ectopic (YAY!) but some fluid behind the uterus... likely from a burst cyst. Not anything to worry about.

So we saw TWO sacs! At first dr didn't see a yolk in the second one, but then he dug around and saw it just before he stopped. He didn't measure anything... said he'd wait til my u/s Tuesday to do a more thorough u/s and confirm twins. So I'm on pins and needles waiting!!!!!!!!

Here's the horrible pic I took of my u/s:

    http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d96/shar.../NewBaby/us.jpg

He couldn't get a good pic of both sacs... so it's a good pic of one sac and the other one is half hidden behind the front one. And the pic is blurry... I wish I had my scanner set up!

Thoughts?!??! I want to wish the next 4 days away!!!!!!!!

The picture is a little blurry, but you can still see what looks like two sacs.
    Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! That picture definitely looks like 2 sacs! On my first u/s at 6w1d, we could see 2 yolk sacs but only one heartbeat. I went back at 6w6d and two hb's were beating away! Good luck and keep us posted!

Yahoo!! :yahoo: Just so you know, it could take a while for a heartbeat to show. I went in at 6w2d and they saw two "empty" sacs. I went back at 7w1d and there were two heartbeats.

    Please keep us posted!! :hug99:

I'd say 2...I had an u/s at 5 weeks to check for ectopic and the resulting pic showed 1 clear sac and what looked like a shadow behind it - nowhere near as clear as your pic. The dr. said, look's like 2 sacs but let's wait 2 weeks and check again. 2 WEEKS!!!! At 7 weeks we had 2 sacs, 2 hearbeats and the rest is history!

    Congrats!!!!!!

Congrats. We had two sacs at our 7 week u/s, but still only one heartbeat. (At that point, the doc never even mentioned the possibility of twins, just that there was an extra sac that would absorb into my system.) We did not see the second heartbeat until our 9 week appt. I'm glad she was wrong!!!

I'm not supposed to know  So, I'm waiting patiently till she's clear to call me or post here. It's past their bedtime right now - they have a 2 yr. old toddler and work full time out of the house so they are early birds in bed!
