Figured I would share, maybe someone can get something out of what Im dealing with/going through..Sorry I cant present it in a more cheerful way.

So, Today at my appointment, which was almost depressing due to the lack of good news, here's what we found out.

    1. I've been curious if my belly button could bust open.. My doctor said no but you can get a hernia, which has to be surgically repaired. After feeling around my bellybutton, --there's a little opening where our umbilical cord used to be and the Doc determined that mine's about 3-5x the size it should be so Im on my way to a hernia..I apologize if this scares anyone, but it scares the crap out of me

    2. I have this weird ringworm looking rash on my boobs, hands, legs, and it gets really itchy at night..I went and bought ringworm cream and some more anti-itch stuff, come to find out it's actually PUPPS. a pregnancy induced rash that doesnt get better until birth usually, some women are lucky enough to even have it postpartum.. I can use hydrocortisone or use/take benadryl, but from my reading around the net, even those remedies dont help.. And yes it's a nightmare..

    3. My passing out feelings in WALMART---more than likely are anxiety attacks, why? Because the walking around and just about any activity can instigate uterine irritability, which causes contractions and sets up preterm labor conditions/symptoms and I guess I freak out (Im usually alone, not even close to my car, and DH's usually training for the weekend when I venture out-so noone's home). The last episode was worse because it lasted so long. Im still not fully convinced on this one. <_<

    4. And the sharp pains that occasionally shoot through my vaginal region(TMI Sorry)--are actually round ligament pains, yes it goes from your belly all the way down there. That round ligament has already been causing me hell, I had no idea that the ligament goes all the way down there. I thought maybe something was wrong with one of the babe's placentas (yes, I can occasionally be paranoid) or something else seriously medical..Nope, nothing seriously medical, just the pain that can compare to a man's pulled groin muscle.. However, my paranoia isnt too bad, because DH thought my belly button question was insane until the doctor explained the hernia situation...

So, hopefully you guys can understand my lack of pregnancy enthusiasm right about now, with my hair thinning, the hernia, PUPPS/insane itching, and then with #3 I just dont now what to do or think, it's all just a bit overwhelming, sigh...Funny part, I can actually deal with number 4 and the extreme heartburn.

It's like was there any good news today? Oh, I only gained 1lb in the last 2 weeks, weird to me, considering I actually eat more. I havent gained alot of weight, and I eat more now that Im on modified bedrest than I did when I was working. And we are now starting our weekly appointments, so I guess I'll call this the homestretch.

I'm sorry you're feeling so down about things :(

I had that rash w dd1. My doc saw it and said ahhhhh the pregnancy rash, It wasn't fun at all so I feel for you. Did your doc talk about meds for your anxiety, my sil was on meds throughout both her pregs and both of her kids are fine, so it may be something to consider!

    Take care of yourself!

I got that pass out feeling a lot when I was pregnant, especially later on. My OB told me that it was from the babies pressing on the diaphragm and not getting as much oxygen as your used to. Don't forget, your body is going through a huge change and even the slightest exertion is different and is hard for your body. I got cramps and pains and all kinds of things when I was pregnant. Your body shape, size, and energy usage is increasing. It is hard and uses a lot of resources. Make sure you are eating enough, getting enough proteing and water. This is also important. I learned that if I didn't eat enough and drink enough I was in trouble. I also had to have some sugar. I got terrible migraines also so I needed to have some coffee, even though we aren't supposed to and a high protein snack like a peanut butter sandwich or a Clif bar between lunch and dinner. I don't necessarily buy into the anxiety theory unless you are prone to it and suffering other symptoms of it. Did you have anxiety attacks before?

I had a lot of round ligament pain later on also. I worried about it too, it is normal from the stretching.

Believe me I worried about everything when I was pregnant. I think it is normal. Just try and take it in stride and remember how much your body is changing. I know it is uncomfortable, but I would be glad that their is nothing seriously wrong. It will be over soon and you will be holding those precious little babies. There is nothing like that feeling of seeing your babies for the first time. GL.

I am sorry the pg isn't wonderful and carefree as most woman dream of their pg being. I wished so badly I could have enjoyed my pgs. The good things is, looking back I don't remember them being that bad (and trust me I was a miserable pg person, too many issues)....but you really do forget how bad it is now!

    Sorry you're feeling so bad.

Hopefully your close enough to the end that you don't fully end up with a hernia. They're no fun but they're easy to fix. I had 2 inguinal hernias that had to be taken care of. The only reason i'm having trouble with them now is that is the area one of the twins has set up residence and is pushing against the mesh they put in during surgery.

As far as PUPP goes, when i was pregnant with my DD, i thought thats what i had, but was diagnosed with something similar at around week 14. I was covered in hives and itched so bad from my head to my toes that i was actually bleeding and spent my pregnancy on benadryl and covered in basically a baking soda paste. I was so upset when i found out that what i had doesn't go away after pregnancy, so while the symptoms lessened quite a bit, i got stuck learning how to deal with something completely miserable that they cant fix. I feel your pain in itchyland and lemme know if you want ideas to safely help the itching part!

Hang in there, you're on the home stretch and you can do it!

Oh the pregnancy rash YUK. I got it with DD- the most horrible rash ever! I got it everywhere except (thankfully) my face. Even between my sausage toes, on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. When I finally gave birth I became known by the nurses on the ward as "The girl with the rash". I was also one of the unlucky ones who had it PP- up until almost 6 wks.

My only advice (If you plan to breastfeed) is to not take Benedryl after birth- safe to take but it totally affected my milk supply.

Sorry you're having such a rough time.
    Hang in there!

Thanks Ladies, there's good days and bad days..Yesterday was just a really bad day, raining, tornado warnings, couldnt get comfortable to nap.. I do forget occasionally that I cant get up 5 of our stairs without being out of breath. Its funny one minute Im fine, the next minute Im tired and feeling weak..DH forgets that I cant walk around for hours at the flea market or take off on a long distance drive on the whim. We go on a nightly drive a few times a week, we've only been here a year. It's funny because Im usually in DH's shirt, shorts, and my houseshoes (uber-comfy) because I dont expect to get out--and it never fails I have to potty every 5 miles or the random contractions hit me..
I need to up the protein intake Im sure, water? I cant get enough.

Itchlyland? lol, I found that taking a shower or warm/cool bath then moisturizing my skin before bed really helps. Hopefully it will stay confined to just my legs, hands, and 'the girls'. I have no idea what I'd do if I got this rash between my TOES, the horror. Girl, I feel for you on that one. Id lose my mind-- your toes? bless your heart, I feel blessed to have it the few places I do.. Thanks for that wakeup call..

The hernia? Baby B has set up house around my belly button and she's doesnt cooperate or compromise her area at all.

I havent had anxiety issues since like 2001 or 2002-in college and had problems taking exams. Hence why I dont buy into it, Doc claims Ive had the perfect twin pregnancy, Im just at that uncomfortable point with babies growing, not alot of room in there, aches and pains.. Thanks for all the advice and encouragement, it's a better day today so far..I also sincerely send a big thank you for the hugs, sympathy and/or empathy lol. Last stretch, Im going to try to make a big effort to really enjoy these last few weeks.. I told DH last night, I could be sitting in the hospital right now for almost 2 months, nowhere to go, unable to walk around, so Im going to enjoy home, do some more nesting and look into domesticating myself a little more--starting on sewing--I'll let you know how that goes :p

Just wanted to share that I had the bellybutton hernia during my twin pregnancy. It caused me alot of pain and discomfort and embarrassment. All my clothes irritated it and my kids thought it was fun to poke and thump at it since it was so huge. Also it showed through all my maternity clothes and I contemplated taping it down a few times. My doc also told me it would need surgery to fix because it was BAD. But lo and behold it got 100% better after they were born. It was tender for a month after, but by the time I went back for my pp apppointment, doc said it was fine and I would not need surgery. I just stayed active and started regular exersise and now I don't even notice it anymore. Hope that gives you some hope!!
