I've noticed that my twin boys are starting to go bald!
They were born with so much hair and now after 2 Months it's starting to fall out.
And it's not on the back of their heads so it's not from lying on their backs when they sleep. They have it on the top.

Is this normal or is it something I should worry about?

    Totally normal!
Two out of my four kids lost a large amount of hair after birth.
One had dark long hair and lost in everywhere but a stripe down the top of her head. She had a mohawk!

I was so scared when they started loosing theirs but it's totally normal. Nefeli now has a tail of her old hair which hasn't fallen out. They both have a full set of hair and didn't go bald at all- just the old hair falling out while the new coming in. Some babies go bald though and stay bald for some time.

Both of mine were born with a full set of hair. They lost it all by 2.5 months, but were never bald as pp said - the old hair fell out while the new hair was coming in. They now have a full set of hair that is a completely different color than the color they were born with.

DS went bald and is just now trying to grow some fuzz. DD lost all of hers, except some on the top. She had a mohawk for about 6 months. On the positive side though, that hair grew faster when she finally started to get some hair and she was able to wear a bow on Xmas eve. [IMG]

    Hallo Katja [IMG]

Yep that is normal!! I remember a nurse saying to DH that all that pretty hair mine had would probably fall out, and new hair would take its place... luckily mine didn't loose much of theirs.

Very normal. Jackson came out with thick dark hair and now is missing quite a bit except for a chunk on the top of his head that looks a bit like a come-over!!

It also looks worse if they have dark hair. Sarah and Amy both lost a lot of hair between 2-6 months (it started growing back much faster around 6 months), but Sarah's is blond, so she just looked bald. Amy's is brown, and it kept getting long on top but she lost it on the sides & back. It looked absurd. [IMG]

Mine had hair at birth and lost it afterwards. Now they are starting to grow hair again. I can't wait to put bows in DD's hair.
