Our girls were born yesterday morning, 33 weekers. Ashley Marie Miller, baby A was born at 5:29 AM weighing 4 lbs 7ozs. Alexis Renee Miller, baby B was born at 5:34 AM, weighing 3 lbs 10 ozs. They are both doing great. They are in the NICU but way ahead of schedule. they are being fed through a tube, but starting small feedings today, breathing on their own as of late last night and we got to hold them earlier this afternoon for the first time. We are so excited, when I get home we'll post some pictures.

we just got back from a visit and they are going to put them under the light for jaundice tomarrow . . anyone know if that is anything serious? i dont think there is but maybe someone knows something i dont?? oh i also forgot to mention that labor and delivery went great, we were under the impression it was going to be a section and at the last minute i was told it was goingto be a vaginal delivery. . . i had no idea what to do or espect but delivery went fine and only lasted about 20 minutes all together.

Congrats! Don't worry about the Jaundice all my kids had it. The light will help them. My were full term so I took the home and let them lay naked in the window. Sure they will be fine.

Jaundice is only dangerous if not caught, but since they caught it it's a very simple process of some time under the bili
lights and frequent blood tests to check their levels!! They're going to do great! :D

Congrats! I love the names!!!! Jaundice is very very common. I work in a "regular" nursery and we have tons of babies on the bili blanket and/or under the lights with the little goggles on. It can be dangerous if not caught as a previous poster said. Can't wait to see pictures!!!

[SIZE=10pt]Congratulations on your girls. LOVE the names!! My oldest DD is Ashley and my twin DD is Alexis. We were going to go with Alexis Renee, but I changed my mind at the last minute and went with Alexis Ryan..same last initial as yours too :) Another commonality...my middle name is Marie. GREAT choices!!

Don't forget to take care of yourself during this time. Can't wait to see pictures!

    April :)
