They're Here!

Sorry it took forever to post again, but when i came home from the hospital, my pc was infected!! but anyway, the good news is our babies arrived on Monday June 11th....Alessandra (Ally) was born at 7:52 a.m. weighing 4 lbs 14 oz, and 18 in. Adalberto (Bear) followed at 7:53 a.m. and weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and 19 in. We came home Wednesday the 13th...both babies are doing great, they hardly cry and are eating and sleeping well. Yesterday we went to the pedi and both have gained a few grams from birth weight, yay!!

All went well during the c-section, though my uterus took a bit more time than normal to contract and therefore bled for a bit longer than usual...yesterday we had dr check up and it's still a bit large for the elapsed time, and still has residual blood, so if it doesnt resolve by next week i may have to get a d&c, yuck!

Sandra-Congratulations!!! They are precious and you look great for just giving birth!

 

CONGRATULATIONS! They are beautiful! Like pp said you do look great for just giving birth. I hope you feel better soon. If you do have to have a D&C it is nothing to worry about. I have had 3 of them and I went home the same day.

I think i mentioned before that i was determined to be vain and even wore makeup to the o.r. LOL

The babies continue to do great, eating, sleeping, pooping....is there more to life??
