Anyone else notice this. Right now they are both downstairs playing. It's quiet; no crying or screaming. But as soon as I join them all hell breaks loose. They both want my attention and so begins they whinning, crying, hitting, ect.

Pretty much from the time they woke up this morning they have been VERY crabby and I needed to step away before I lost my mind.

Yup. That's why they had their own room to play in until 15 months. Then we moved... and now I'm with them all the time and some days are trying to say the least...but in the end I guess I just like being able to keep an eye on them.

Mine are the same way. We have a wireless video camera in our den so I can watch them on the computer in the other room... sometimes they are playing so nicely together because they are helping each other do something they aren't allowed to do (like climb the bookcases), other times they are just getting along well. But once I'm in the room, I totally mess up that dynamic.

Mine are STILL like this, more or less. Today has been an excellent example of it. I'm busy packing for a move this weekend, and they play fine until I pass by, then they both start flipping out. I have to just hope and trust that they won't kill themselves in the sea of boxes while I pack in a separate room, or else I will never get anything done!

Yup - same thing going on here. I've been thinking about getting a camera for the playroom, maybe I just will!!!

Same here! With Elliot as soon as he sees me the winning starts and the pick me ups start and omg it's really annoying. He doesn't do it with his dad!

key word --they get your attention. Try giving your attention more often for a while and you may see this behavior abate. Kids are always worst with their moms. ain't that fun

It's totally like this in my house too! They behave great with everyone but me. It's so hard to come home from work and walk in only to hear constant screaming/whining. I hope they'll outgrow it soon.
