Potty training is going pretty well, they only have one or two accidents a day now, but I swear they go on the potty every 10 minutes... How long does that last? I'm seriously dreading having to go anywhere in these conditions... and can't even think of what it's going to be at school!

Glad it's going well! We did 3 Day Potty Training in March, but mine never really peed that often so I'm not sure what to tell you. But overall (other than some accidents Will had the first 3 days after PT) they do better out than at home.

We're on day 7 now too... and we still have accidents. So I don't know, lol. I don't think they're ready to go out in underwear at all yet..

Use a timer. That is really the only thing that helped my one DS who would go every few minutes if I let him.

I know it's a pain, but have them go as soon as you enter a store and explain to them they are only going potty once.

What I do now is have them go before we go out and if we enter a store and they say they have to go, I explain that they just went _____minutes ago unless they say they have to go poop, then I allow it.

Why are people in such a rush to potty train again? Having potty trained kids seems like such a pain compared to diapers, lol!

    LOL
Yeah, diapers were easier in many ways! One of my boys started saying multiple times a day, "I want to wear underwear!" so we decided to go for it. He started that about 6 weeks after they turned 3 and we PTed two weeks later (we had to put it off since he came down with double pneumonia the day we planned to start).

You are kidding right? Diapers vs. potty trained kids oh let me just say I wished we never had to do diapers:)

My boys peed all day every 10-15 minutes the first few weeks. I let them, I figured it was just their way of figuring out their bladder.

It's normal, they can't tell when it's a "I have to pee", or "I GOTTA PEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!". They are still trying to figure out how urgent it actually is. Rylee settled down really quickly, and now she only goes when she actually needs to go. Liam still hasn't figured it out, and we went back to pullups with him. He'll pee if I tell him to go, or if Rylee goes, but he has no interest in stopping what he's doing to go pee!

No way! Changing a diaper every 3-4 hours is so much better than having to make sure they potty before we go somewhere, having to stop to gross bathrooms every time we're out, having to stop often while on road trips, having to change underwear because it's gross and they don't wipe well or whatnot... emptying their potty (or letting them in the bathroom) every time they have two drops... and I haven't figured out how we'll handle potty during the night yet. I can't trust my kids in the bathroom alone, and they'd just play and spill the potty or something if we left one in their room... which means we'll have to get up and help.

Really... I just don't see it, lol. Until they're old enough to be able to hold for a while obviously... and learn to wipe.
