Okay, so I first introduced a regular sippy cup and they both hated it! Then, after reading some advice on this site, I went out and purchased the Nuby brand sippy cups that are short and fat with handled on them. I put water in them and gave them to them while we were playing on the floor after breakfast. I walk out of the room and come back in and my one DD is laid back with the sippy cup tilted back GUZZLING the water! I was so worried about how much water she could drink that I took it away from her. She started to cry when I did this, but I distracted her.

So, how much water is it okay for a 7 month old to drink??

.5 oz per pound of weight. That's what I heard from my pedi. Less if it interferes with eating. You could put milk/formula/ebm in there too if you want.

do you have a link to this sippy cup or where you got it? The only Nuby I can find is tall and has no handles.

    TIA!

I switched mine to all Nuby's at like 8 months! If they like them that much you might go ahead and change.

For JDMummy: Glo e Bears are awesome soothing stuffed animals (even though they say 3 and up). There are no small parts and the bear turns lots of soothing colors.

I got a bath seat yesterday, but haven't tried it yet. i don't know how thisone will do, but we will see. The girls have been laying on slings in the tub b/c they are too long for the baby tubs and they love to splash their feet.
