Hayden started coughing and choking friday, but thought he was only choking on his food so went about for those measures. Well saturday i took the kids to walmarts fishing day family event. He started gasping for air etc, rushed him to ER. They did chest xrays and all find out he has pneumonia. Well they said destiny should be fine bla bla. Sent me home with a medicine that im highly allergic to for him. Even asked about that. Well come to find out he has the same allergy so er visit number two. Released and sent home......Had a rough night was up most of it with destiny hacking and all. This morning running a 103 temp, so while getting everyone ready so i could take her to the er im giving her tylenol and alcohol cloths trying to bring the temp down. Rush her in, smae thing.
And can you believe they still sent her home???????? Sent me home with antibiotics saying that shes fine, and shouldnt get any worse. to keep a close eye on her. I asked bout me being pregnant and alot of contact with them, they said i had nothing to worry about. But today ive been doing the same thing!

Im so aggrivated at these doctors, and of course my car isnt great enough to drive somewhere else. Its frustrating. Not too mention i dont have medical card or anything right now. (have applied since pregnant again and waiting for approval.) So i paid 20 dollars for the first round of meds for him and 50 for the next....generic versions. And now have to get destinys with no funds, and im off work due to bedrest. Its well, frustrating as **** that i cant provide my kids with what they need to get over this! So now im looking at pawning my jewelry to get their meds.....

Oh no, poor things and poor Mommy too. :hug99:

Trevor has had a virus here for 4 days and it hasn't been fun, so I can't imagine two at one time. :hug99:

I am sorry to hear about the pneumonia. We all had it here at our house a few months ago, and Jaydon has had it several times since he was born. We have never had to stay overnight, surprisingly, even with a 104+ temp!!! He responds very well to antibiotics and steriods, so they've always released him. Please take a few deep breaths and take care of yourself. Praying for healthy kids and a healthy pregnant mommy!

Oh, generic meds through Wal-mart are like $3.

I'm so sorry to hear of this! We've all been sick this week and weekend with the stomach bug. The Dr.'s can be so frustrating, especially when it cost us money. I hope you all get better and things work out for you.
