They have a new favorite show

My guys love music and have always liked the Wiggles but they seem like they were a little tired of all the same songs. We just happened to come across a show called Fresh Beat Band on Nic Jr and they LOVE it! The music is great and they dance around like maniacs :lol: Anyone else's little ones watch this show?

Oh and I would appreciate if you could refrain from stating your child doesn't watch TV because they are not 2 yet. I understand AAP discourages TV use in children under two but I do not agree with limited TV use being a bad thing. This is not a debate about TV. Thanks

 

Mine LOVE music and I'm sure would LOVE that show but haven't seen it yet. Mine don't have cable in the playroom so they only get dvd's. Have they seen Jack's Big Music Show? Mine LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Thanks for sharing!

 

Mine love music too, they'll just stop and stare and even dance when any kind of music comes on! We watch all those good shows because of my older dd so they've been enjoying the fresh beat band since the fall! :clapping:

 

Katie likes it too! Another of her fave is the Imagination movers.

 

I don't have that channel but it sounds great!!! My kids dance around like lunatics to Super Why. It is great to see them have fun and learn to love music!!

I have heard Jack's Big Music Show mentioned on here before but I'm not sure if we get that. What network is it on?

 

Sprout I think but I have rented the dvd's on netflix.

 

I haven't heard of that one - will have to look for it. At my house, Jack's Music Show is on Nick Jr. too - or at least it is on Nick Jr. when you get it from On Demand - I don't think we have ever actually watched it or Yo Gabba Gabba (another fave around here) live. My two love to dance and "sing" so I am always on the look out for shows with music. If you do happen to have On Demand there is one particular Jack's Music Show - Jack's Big Sing Along or something like that - that we recorded and it is NOT to ever be erased because they LOVE, LOVE it!

 

Great recommendation! My kids are fans of the Fresh Beat Band and they also love Jack's Big Music Show.

 

We are Yo Gabba Gabba lovers here! The boys are addicted. I may have a small addiction too!

 

I have not heard of that show, my boys watch sesame street (well it's on, whether they pay much attn is another thing) except when there is music, they stop and listen and laugh and smile...plus it's a lifesaver when i need it, they love music, i usually have the radio or a CD in the music box on )when i remember)...music is sooo good for them....

 

Mine love The Wiggles too. Their fave right now is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I am always looking for new shows, because the other ones get old quick. I'll have to try to find them on demand.

I checked and it seems it's only available in the states. Next time I'm across the border I'll have to pick up a DVD.

 

well, i'm sure my boys watch way too much since it's on all day long, but when i switch it to the news or oprah or the O.C., they stop watching. their favorites are Jack's Big Music Show, Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora the Explorer (i'm pretty sure logan has a crush on her), and the Fresh Beat Band. oh and The Back Yardigans. all of those programs are on Nick Jr. (used to be Noggin)...mine love all kinds of music. they sit in awe when i play my fiddle or mandolin.

 

If they like music, try the Backyardigans (also on NickJr)! Its really cute and they sing and dance. I don't think my girls have seen the Fresh Beat Band, but they know who they are since they hype it in between the shows on Nick Jr.

 

I love the backyardigans but the boys haven't shown any interest in that yet. Their favorite shows right now are Caillou, Fresh Beat Band, Go Diego Go, Yo Gabba Gabba, Wiggles and Barney. Most other shows they pay no attention.

 

Mine like all of those and another that no one has mentioned is HI-5. Alot of music in there.
