I know it sounds silly to be so excited but Alex and Gabby finally found each other! This morning they woke up and I put them in bed with us. They were both on their backs and Gabby rolled over. She looked at Alex and had this big smile on her face. Alex then cooed and they were babbling for the longest time! DH and I watched as they patted each others face, held hands, kicked their legs in excitement and look so amazed that they have each other :itwins:

I'd love to hear other stories of milestones your twins have had and all the fun stuff I get to look foward to.

Yay! It's so cute, isn't it?!! The best thing so far has been the giggling at each other! Also, when one is crying, the other will go over and rub his/her head.

I remember when my boys found it each other. It was so cute. Right now they tend to express a lot of concern for the other one's feelings. They don't like it when the other cries, it upsets them. They will just sit and stare at the other one until we fix what's wrong. They hold hands when they are put next to one another. They also like to suck on each other's hands.

    That is so sweet!!

Whats even better is when they are toddlers, and can't find the other, they go to hollering each others names, until they find one another, it is too cute!

:( Mine are only somewhat aware of the other one ... it almost seems they are more aware when they sleep, they usually reach out and touch one another somehow, but during the day, only occasionally do they see the other one and grin at them. I've only seen them both stare at each other and smile at each other ONCE, otherwise it's both doing their own thing or one observing the other, not each other.

What I also love is when they start "talking" to each other or sit on the floor and play together.

Mine haven't really "found" each other yet. But they are aware of each other's emotions...when one cries and they are near each other...the other laughs. It is too funny!

Mine have always seemed to be aware of one another. When my little girl came home from the NICU after 25 days, they definitely took notice of one another. They reach out to each other. If he is crying, she always stops and reaches out to him. They touch each other, suck on each other and now it looks like they fight already. Sometimes she doesn't want to be touched and he snuggles up to her and she pushes him away and cries.

It is the most amazing thing to watch them interact with one another. I LOVE it! Definitely a bonus to having two babies.

Isn't that the best?? My girls were just a few days younger than yours when it happened here.

I absolutely LOVE it when they laugh at each other now. I just noticed today that Emma now makes faces at Lauren and Lauren cracks up so then I laugh like crazy so then they laugh because I'm laughing. It's awesome!

My DS found my DD a while back but she just continued to ignore him but this weekend it was the cutest thing. They were playing on the floor and he was talking to her and she turned and just started cooing back to him. It was sooooo sweeet and does bring a tear to the eye to watch. They continued for quite a while talking and smiling and holding hands. Makes your heart swell. :D
