They didn't kick me off the plane

I see reports sometimes of people being hassled for NIP and I just had to say that I nursed two fussy toddlers (tandem, no less) on an American Airlines flight just this week and nobody said a word to me about it. They'd already had snacks and water but they were demanding "miiiiiiiiiwk". You do what you have to do.

That is great. I heard it is really good for kids inflight to nurse...to help w/ those lil ears and sinuses. Glad to hear it went smoothly.

I've taken our twins on three trips so far, total of 6 flights, and nursed them on every flight and I've had no one say a peep about it! (Not tandem tho, that's quite a feat!). I had one woman look at me scornfully when my husband handed forward a crying baby for me to nurse, but once the baby quited down, everyone was happy!

I nursed in Costco the other weekend too, on a chair near the optical department! My experience thus far is that people are far more charmed by the twins than offended by my BFing in public.

    :)

American tends to be pretty good about having little ones on the plane. A lot of their flight attendants are grandmas and have a real heart for us moms.

Glad to hear it went well! I hope to never tandem NIP, but I'll do whatever I have to to keep my babies quiet and happy.

I'm impressed! not so much by the respectful airline, but by your ability to nurse tandem in an airplane seat! Kudos to you, mama!

Heh, heh... it helps when you have the entire 3-seat row and your DH makes efforts to block the view. Still, I had half a college basketball team streaming by visiting the two young ladies seated in front of us. None of them seemed to even notice.
