They came, they saw,

EI left a little while ago. They really only did an evaluation on Lia since Eve qualifies by birthweight alone. Lia is behind in everything, but only far enough behind in motor skills to qualify. So, the good thing is she qualifies! Now we just wait for the call to set up our first session or whatever it is they do. Hopefully we don't have to go to the office for therapy and they can come to the house. The case manager said that most of the therapists don't like to come to the house, and especially when there is more than one baby. I don't understand the logic in that but I'm just glad that we'll be starting. Anyone know what to expect? She told me not a whole lot simply because of their age, but I'm curious. Wish us luck!

 

I'm glad they will both be able to get services, but I'm surprised with all Lia is able to do! The way I look at it is all the extra help my kids could get would be great. In Hills. Cty. they would only come to the house! So strange!

 

I can't help on what to expect, but I always think any extra help they qualify for is a good thing, right? Any extra boost that will help them along is all good. ;good:

I wish you all the best, I am surprised that they will not come to the house either, but perhaps every county is different? I can't help you on what to expect though.
