One went to bed arouned 8 the other around 9 and they both slept until 5 this morning when DH got up to get ready for work. YAY!!
But...now they won't quit screaming. Nothing will soothe them. I'm at my wits end. I'm so tired...you'd think that since they slept maybe I would have, but no. Normally we have them in their bouncer seats to slept but last night I put them in their crib. So since they weren't right next to the bed I was up just about every hour checking on them. Geneva has slept through the night before, it was Gretchyn I was really checking on. She's always been up every 2-3 hours to eat (that would be why she is a little bit bigger). I just want them to stop crying. We just moved and I need to put the house together and can't because I hate to hear them cry. What do I do?

Congrats on them sleeping through the night!! My guys just started doing that for the past 2 nights. But much like you, I haven't gotten much sleep! [IMG] Is it possible that they are tired again already? My guys have moved their naps up by an hour in the past 2 days, because I think their internal clocks were reset. So they'll be awake for an hour and then crash again. You could try starting your nap time routine and seeing if they'll go back to sleep. Otherwise they might just be really hungry, that's a long time for little tummies! [IMG] HTH!

Well, it's been about 6 hours since they got up...they've each had 3 bottles now and taken about a half hour cat nap. I've tried getting them back to sleep but they won't go back to sleep. So I don't know. If this is what it's going to be like whenever they sleep through the night I don't want them sleeping through. They are too cranky.

I would put them in for a nap and walk away. You need to get some things done and to do that you need some time alone. I would make sure they are fed, and changed and swaddle them, make the room dark and put them for a nap. Good luck.

I am still exhausted. Mine do not sleep at night though.

At that age they usually only stay up for 1.5 - 2 hours before they need to sleep again. It sounds like they're overtired! Depending on what you do for a nap time routine, you might want to start doing it when they've been awake for an hour and a half or an hour and 45 minutes. Try to get them down no later than 2 hours after their last wake time. Look for sleepy signs like yawning, rubbing eyes, rubbing face on things.... and start to put them down then. If they're overtired they won't nap very well. If they go to sleep when they first show sleepy signs they usually sleep longer and better. They may also be having hard time with the move, do you have a shirt that you've worn that is, um, not washed yet? You might try putting that with them when they sleep so they smell something familiar. And maybe some white noise to help block the unfamiliar sounds of the neighborhood. HTH!

If they are fed, dry and cuddled and still won't stop crying it definately is tired! Try going for a drive? Sometimes that was the only sanity for us!

    Good luck! [IMG]
