My little chubs! First let me say Im not used to having kids that eat normal (ds has sensory issues and doesnt eat much at all). Well this morning the girls ate a scrambled egg yolk, cheerios, split a piece of toast, split a jar of baby food and had some oatmeal ALL IN ONE SITTING! I cant believe they ate that much food. Where did they put it all? I thought their tummys were the size of their fist...they just kept eating and eating, when I tried to take something away, they started screaming. At this rate they will outwiegh my 3 year old by next month

Occasionally DS will eat more like what an adult would!

Except when they were teething, my girls will easily put away 24 ounces of food at one sitting (so they each eat about 12 ounces). During their 9 month growth spurt, they sometimes ate even more! I do not understand either where they put it...my girls are average size, but their fists just dont seem like they could hold that much food at one time!

I remember going through that with my four year old. My six year old boy has always been a very picky eater. If you could get half a jar of babyfood in him at a year you would jump for joy. My daughter is a human trash compactor! She is this little anorexic looking thing and she can eat FOUR hotdogs at dinner time. I remember at your girls age she would just sit there and keep on eating. I would expecter her to chuck, but she would just eat and eat!

Congrats - it is great to have a child who will eat!

LOL, my guys each have two hollow legs and big tummies! They've each eaten larger than adult sized portions at times! I joked with the pedi about getting them checked for worms, lol! It is nice to have good eaters, then you don't have to be so stressed about getting enough nutrients in them with only a few bites here and a few sips there.

yeah - who was it that said their tummies were the size of their fist anyway? I am beginning to wonder if they ment the size of everyone in the familes fists all put together? my girls are 3 months old and while a lot of babies eat, sleep and poop - mine EAT EAT EAT!!!! I have 3 boys ages 13, 10 and 8 but it is these little babies that are eating us out of house and home!!!!
