They are playing "Mom and baby"

Oh my goodness. We started 1-2-3 Magic about two weeks ago and are having some really good success with it. I just heard "That's 3 Abby, take 5". Apparently they are playing Dad and baby and then Mom and baby and using 1-2-3 Magic on eachother. :rotflmbo:

 

My kiddos do 1-2-3 Magic on their stuffed animals. It's so amusing to watch! It was also a bit of an eye opener for me when I noticed them yelling at the stuffed animals, "you're going in a timeout!" I guess I'm still wokring on the showing no emotion part.

 

Well, mine used to do the yelling "Time out!" or when I went through a really bad phase of smacking their butts when I got upset I'd hear "Time for a spanking" or something like that. That made me cringe. They were actually doing as calm as I have been and it was a nice change. I must be doing it right. It's SOOOOOOO hard for me to control my emotions and I do have my moments where I fly off the handle (it's usually as I'm trying to get us out the door), so I guess they are noticing (I hope!) that I'm trying to do better. It's so hard to keep your emotions out of it...a very hard habit to break and I'm def. still working on it.

 

I need to read that book! Yesterday I overheard dd counting to ds for something & I heard "Don't make me say 3!"
