They are doing it ... at the same time?

I can't believe my girls are almost 8 months. This experience has been an absolute joy and I feel so blessed (even if I was a wreck when I found out I was having twins!). Both of them are so good and I can't believe how much they have changed this past month - rocking on all fours, crawling, sitting up, scared of strangers and now teeth! It's so weird how these two are doing things within a week or so of each other. Anyone else experience this? Having twins is so fascinating! We still haven't had them tested for fraternal or identical. Sometimes I think they look so much alike, sometimes not. Anyway, here are some pics of them - I haven't posted any for months -

It is super cool! Ours are identical (were in the same gestational sac and cheeks were swabbed at 2 weeks and had a 99.99% DNA match) and still have their differences. They are very subtle and sometimes I even have trouble (we have one with a painted toenail) but MOST people who see them often can tell them apart.

LOVED the pics!!!! Your girls are WAY too cute!!! My boys seem to be doing things within a few weeks of each other as well. I will see Ryan roll over first then think he will be leap years ahead of Nathan...then Nathan rolls over and does Ryan one better by sitting up!

They're adorable and definitely look id to me. I have one who is more of a go-getter. She's up on all fours a lot and trying to crawl...the other one is a bit more lazy and content (although she's not too far behind her sister). However, this past week they just got their first tooth on the same day...same tooth. :)

Cute pics! I think that ID or frat babies do seem to develop at the same time, usually within a week or two. I vote ID from the pics.

too cute! I say ID as well. And that HAIR! and those grins!

yes, it's amazing to watch; the similarities and the difference. Mine each cut their first teeth the EXACT same day - while we were in an all-day cross-country plane trip (you can imagine how fun THAT was!)

Mine have been very similar developmentally all along (and are definitely fraternal - b/g who look nothing alike). Rolling over happened within a few days of each other, sitting up they were one day apart, and first steps were on the SAME day (one in the morning, one in the afternoon). Pretty crazy.

As they get older though, their skills are getting to be more different - Elliot is much more verbal, and Clarissa is much more physically coordinated (exactly opposite of what "everyone" told us to expect).

I would also vote ID on yours . . . interesting how they look different to those who know them well, but to those who just see th photos they look absolutely identical.

I definitely vote ID. They look exactly the same except for their head shapes which seems to be pretty common in ID twins. Mine are ID, one placenta as far as they could tell and they have slight differences. Sometimes they look totally different but then you put a hat on them and even I have a hard time telling them apart. They are absolutely gorgeous by the way!
