Well i just an O/B today and everything is fine. I asked if we could hurry it up a bit and she said we could wait a couple more weeks. Oh well at least the babies will be well done. I also asked her how i could speed it up a bit and she told me to have sex...omg thats what got me here in the first place haha but all is well in the oven!!!

Wow! You are obviously an awesome baby cooker. lol If you can figure out how sex is supposed to work with a twin pregnancy in the 3rd tri....well never mind. I wouldn't even want to attempt it. lol

I feel you big time! I got sent from my NST to L&D today because I was contracting regularly...I stayed at 1 cm/50% effaced the whole time, and my contractions spread out, so they sent me home. I kept saying "What do I do to stay????" The doc on call kept saying, oh, your doctor likes to see them go to 38 weeks...I was like OH GOD~ hahaha Am secretly hoping I've been at 1 cm for days or a week already since this is the first time I've been checked since 33 weeks! Good luck to you...I'm right there with you!

I'm right there also. At my NST today, I kept hoping something would happen. No such luck. Today was rough- I felt yucky and so tired. And my youngest caught a bad cold 2 days ago, making it a very long weekend. I am so praying nobody else in the house gets it, but how likely is that?... me especially... I can't imagine coughing right now..

Hang in there! Its comforting to know others are feeling the same!

Hold on...just a little bit longer. I guess the dr. is just saving you a couple of bucks on diapers, lol. Time will fly by and you will be glad that you had that extra time before they arrive.

There are lots of mommies in the first year forum who spent time in NICU and will tell you - HANG IN THERE! You need them to cook as long as possible. As someone who had a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks, I know how uncomfortable you are. I was enormous, exhausted and in pain. But, it will be worth it when your babies are born big and healthy!

I went to 39 and lived to tell about it. My boys were the same size I was when I was born (and I was a 41 week singleton!) I know how hard it is at the end but I swear that it's so worth it. Someone once told me that the difference between 36 weeks and 38 weeks is the difference between nursing every 1.5 hours and every 2.5 hours. So, when the doc offered me the option of induction at 38 or 39, I looked at my achy sausage legs and chose 39 anyway.

LOL! That is SO true! Keep it up though, you will be SO PROUD when people ask you haw far you went with twins and you say "38 WEEKS!!!!!" Its so worth it for those babies to come home with you... and remember you can just ground them when they are old enough to care!

I know exactly how you feel. I am 37 weeks today and my induction date is two weeks from today, 39 weeks. I feel awful. Everyweek I go for my NSTs and everything is always perfect. I want them to be perfectly healthy it's just that I am so uncomfortable I can barely even walk.
