I know how all you first years ladies feel, ohhhh, I sooo do  :vava: :unknw: I always say the first 6 months went by paiiiinnnnnfully slow and the second 6 months went by too fast. It does get better, so much better. It gets easier, it gets fun :yahoo:
Today I was alone with mine from wakeup (8am) until bedtime (7pm). We woke up, ate breakfast, ran to Home Depot, grocery, Office Depot and I let them walk in with me each time, loaded them into a double cart at HD/grocery and let them walk with me at Office Depot. Then we went home, ate lunch, played out side, then napped for 2hrs.
Woke up, played outside some more, ate dinner, played inside, had baths then bed.

I then made some pumpkin bread for them (thier fav) and am having a glass of wine waiting for dh to get home. I know I will sleep from 10pm-7am, and get to go to work tomorrow and miss them.

It gets better, take it day by day :hug99: Post here for anything and everything, we all love to listen.

Thank you! It feels very good to hear that after a stressful night with one of my girls. I can't wait until they hit 6 months when they're able to do a little more.

Even at just 9 months there is hope.....so I thought I would share too!

Yesterday I was with mine from 7am to 7pm alone. DH always helps at night but he had a class so I was on my own.

Up at 7am, had bottles, played, had breakfast, bounced in their exersaucers and went down for naps around 9:30. Both were up by noon for a little bottle, playtime, lunch and then a catnap in their swings before we went to the park to meet some other twin moms and their kids. Spent two hours at the park playing on a blanket, had a bottle and watched Baylinn crawl in the dirt. Home by 5 for dinner, a baby einstein video (so I could clean up the kitchen), a wipedown (instead of a bath) and into the pjs. A final bottle and both in bed without a peep by 7:20. I don't think there was one tear shed yesterday at all.

I have really enjoyed my girls from the beginning and have been blessed with healthy non-colicky babies that are great sleepers. But there have been trying days! I do really, really love this age where they can sit and play on their own, yet still love to give kisses and cuddle.

Thanks for starting a great post!

Though I'd chime in as I feel the same way! I thought I could not go on for another day / night when my girls were about 4mos. - 6mos. SO tired. Saturday's are my full day with my girls - just us 3 and it is wonderful!!! We go to lunch - they walk in with me, sit in their highchairs and love to look around. It's wonderful they eat table food now as I just order them grilled cheese / baked chicken or what ever they like and they just eat with me! We get alot of attention where ever we go - wich I don't mind - my girls are so social - they smile and point at everyone. I took them to the zoo last Saturday and they had a blast. we swung on the swings and ran around in the grass (I live in CA) . Went home - took a nap - and played some more. It does get better - and more fun as time goes by. One thing I love love is that I read to them alot and when they are playing in their room, I peek in on them and they are sitting on the floor "mimicking" me - holding the book, pointing to the pages, and making noise like they are reading. It's absolutley beautiful. Hang in there - it's a ride of a life time!!

I was just sitting here wondering if I should try taking the girls out shopping when they wake up from their nap. It takes so much energy! Glad it won't always be so hard.
