The twins have been super low for weeks

Wow, I can feel movement clear down into my crotch area, lol! It feels SOOO strange. You'd think they'd just fall right out! I guess this is all normal, but wow, i can't believe with all the pressure I'm having "down there" that it doesn't put me into labor or break my water!

What I'm wondering is maybe it's the position baby A is in...he seems to be transverse across my belly really low. Could that be preventing me from going into labor? If he were head down, wouldn't that get things moving along faster?

 

My girl has been down for a while and I completely understand the pain you are feeling. I have so much longer to go with this feeling, I wish I wasn't feeling this all until much later on.

I'm not sure about that one. But I remember feeling movement down "there" and it was a very odd feeling. My son was head down and I never went into labor and went to 39 weeks, so position may not have anything to do with labor starting.

 

The babies head pressing down against the cervix is what causes it to dilate during labor normally, but everything is different for everyone. If your babies or body aren't ready that may be what is keeping you from going into labor too. I have had those feelings a couple times already where it literally feels like someone punched or kicked me "down there". It is very bizarre. Good luck with your delivery

 

I'm already getting these kicks to my cervix. I can't imagine what its going to feel like later on! One is head down and the other is breech so its hard to tell they are kicks or headbutts I'm feeling! Such a weird feeling, my breath gets caught in my throat when it happens.
