the stretch marks have arrived

sooo underneath (where i cant see!) of my belly has been itching and kinda sore. so i took a handheld mirror and sure enough if i look at JUST the right angle, or right after the shower, i can see them. maybe 4-5 of them, around 5" long. i thought maybe i was gonna get lucky and not have any! my mom had 8 kids and doesnt have a single one! ugh i hope there arent anymore...but i guess since i have some now, that means i'll prolly keep getting them the more i grow right..? grrr :angry:

 

I didn't get any until about 30 weeks and then bam, they are everywhere. I hate them!!

 

Welcome to the pink tiger club! I got mine at 33 weeks- the babies were a bit over 9 pounds combined at that point.
2 years later my belly looks a lot better, but not good enough to show off. No more bikinis for me!

 

My first baby did me in, and I've only added to the collection. I never was a bikini gal anyways. . . **sigh**

They do lighten up at least!

 

I was mad when I got them at the end with my last pregnancy, and they are still there.

 

I used Bio-Oil during my pregnancy and even with two boys weighing almost 7 pounds each I didn't get a single stretch mark. It's good for old marks, too. I had a few from my daughter, and they are almost completely gone now. You can get it at Walgreens. You may want to give it a shot. It keeps your belly from itching, too.
