    I'm just wondering...

... Who teaches toddlers the spaghetti maneuver????? You know, where they turn themselves into limp noodles that are impossible to pick up and hold????

    Eeeesh.

    Or, the back arching. Wow.

Years later, I'm sure I'll be paying a fortune for gymnastics, martial arts, etc. for the kids.

But again I wonder, who is teaching them this stuff now???

It's gotta be a class titled something like "Messing With Your Parents 101." They sneak away in the night and learn from wise toddler ninjas under the cover of darkness. It includes lessons like "Hiding Dangerous Foreign Objects In Your Mouth" and "Sneaking Sticky Goo Into Forbidden Areas of the House."

Sigh. And the password to get in each night is probably "Uh oh".

No spaghetti babies here, but I have a world class back archer. Viv can arch her back and throw her head so far back that I am sure her spine is going to crack. Usually she does it for fun, but it's still freaky (even more so when she's throwing a fit). If I don't remember to hold her upper back when I pick her up I never know if she'll break!

    Sooo funny....!

I've got one spaghetti kid - hence her new nickname is "Noodle" and one who goes super-stiff and arches her back. Her new nickname is "TT" - for "Temper Tantrum." :D

I have a little worm. John can worm his way out of his high chair buckles and stand up. Now he's doing it in the jogger stroller where he also stands up-ugh!!

We call them Gandhi-babies because they're so good at the passive resistance...kind of the opposite of ninjas, but I like your image better!
