About a week ago Jack had a fever and we took him to the Dr and she diagnosed him with an ear infection only bc she couldn't see his eardrum clearly and he got put on antibiotics. They both had "colds" aka booger noses prior to this. Then they both started coughing especially over the weekend so we've kept them out of daycare this week but now this a.m. J.T. has a fever of 101.0 I gave him some tylenol but obviously they have a viral cold that they are passing back and forth and now hubby and I feel like we are getting it too!! How do we stop this vicious cycle??? I'm already washing their blankey bears daily, they get new bibs and don't really take pacis but I have been washing those too. What else can I do?? They don't really play with any toys yet but if they do grab at stuff like on the bouncy seat I use the anywhere Clorox spray on those too.

Any thing else I can do??? I just want them better and to stay better!!!!

ps...they are still troopers though, smiling and playing they are just sleeping more and you can just tell they don't feel good.

Make sure you and your hubby are washing your hands ALOT!!

Sounds like you are doing all the right stuff otherwise. Hang in there. Summer is around the corner.

I hope they are feeling better soon! It sounds like you are doing a great job trying to prevent it, it's just very difficult to do!

we're in the exact same situation and i'm sick of the cycle, too. our pedi keeps saying it will all resolve as the weather warms up. keep washing your hands and hang in there!

We're in the middle of that cycle, too. I can soooo relate!

I hope they feel better soon (you, too).

My girls started daycare when they were a year old. From then until 18 months they were constantly sick-I was at my wits end and the pedi said I'd have to pull them out of daycare-which wasn't an option. One of my students dad is a homopathic dr and I took the girls to see him at his suggestion. He set up an immune system building program and it WORKED. I had never been to a homopathic dr before then, and I still wouldn't rely solely on one, but I'm convinced in this case it was the best option and I wish I'd gone sooner.
