the saga continuess....

i just got home from applebees and my waitress was really cute. red head really slender and tall. we orderede drinks my drink did not taste right i had a virgin strawberry mango margarita and i order it every time i go there well i already knew what it was missing because i was never a bartender but i know how to mix a drink when its something i like!
so any way margaritas have sour mix in them mine didnt have it it was alfully sweet oh but before i tasted it i noticed it didnt have my orange that they usually put on the side of the glass so i asked her if i could have some fruit she said sure. she came back to the table with two of everything so i was impressed and i told her thank u with a smile then she carried on saying "oh yeah i told the bartender we got a pregnant one on our hands!" i didnt say anything and then she said " well ive got four kids and i had to have my fruit when i was pregnant" so i told her "you you incredible for four i hope my body looks like yours when im done"so she then says "how far along are u" i say "38 weeks and 1 day today" she says "wow u are small!" so i say "thank you" then she said "is it your first?" and i say " first two" then shes pauses and then shes like" no way they are gonna be so tiny!" so by that time i was irritated by her ignorance because my babies are both well over 6 right now and i carry them everyday so for her to say those things was just ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
i cant say that she was being mean i just call it ignorance or not knowing because she dont know **** u would think she would have chosen her words better seeing that she has four! **** just seeing my belly and my hair today she should have just said congratulations and brought my damn food with would u youlike another drink and walked the **** off!!!!

wheeeewwwwwwwwwwww i had to get that off my chest!

LOL, yeah, it seems like we are getting the same thing!! I feel like saying a few things like;

'Small? why's that? Were u a real fat *** when you had your kids?'

'Well, i must be wearing it really well then, mustn't I'

 

Good for you to vent. We understand . It's mind boggling how many comments we get during pg at all, and then to throw the twin factor on top of it....geez.

 

This is the place to come to vent. Sometimes I think people just don't know the right thing to say. I've been getting a lot of the, "You look too small for twins!" comments lately. I have to remind people that I am 29 weeks and have a ways to go. But believe me, they certainly do not feel small in the belly!!!!

 

GRRRR! Why do people always feel the need to make comments!!! The last time I went out the waitress asked if I could fit in a booth!!! Seriously, like we are not self conscious enough without having it thrown in our faces!

 

I am almost 35 weeks...and yes....someone actually said, "Are you sure it's twins? You are so small" Ya knnow maybe in the beginning I could MAYBE see that question. But OMG....I was like YEAH...there are definitly two. I get the comment, that they are going to be sooooo tiny. But right now, mine really are kinda tiny. Yeah I feel like a hippo, but apparently I am supposed to be like a wooly mammoth or something.
