The results are in....

BOYS!!! I went in for an elective u/s today just for fun and baby b was great about spreading the legs to say, "Hey, look at me, I'm a boy!" Baby a was a little more difficult. He was moving quite a bit, but we were able to get a quick shot and there he was! I am really excited. My MIL, was with me and so was my step daughter. I am looking forward to telling my son. I wish I could see his face when I tell him. He was really worried that they would both end up girls and he would be stuck with 5 sisters. I told my DH, he was at work, so I am sure the guys all know by now. I think this is the best outcome and I can't wait to see my boys in the spring! My next u/s is in January and it is a level 2, so we will be able to confirm then. Time to get the baby name book out! :banana: :itwins_boys: :a_smil09:

That is so cool! Couldn't have a better name! My Kyle Andrew is the greatest little boy you'd ever meet. I have to say I am very proud of him and I am so glad that he is finally getting brothers to hang out with... even if he is going to be the really cool big bro. I really think the twins couldn't have a better big brother to look up to. I think Kyle's definately rock... what about you? :wub:

Sarah- Thanks. My 14 yr. old and I are huge Harry fans. She has been teasing since we found out about the twins that we should name them Fred and George. She thinks they are the greatest characters in the series. (They are pretty great) I decided that we should at least nickname them Fred and George... especially if they act anything like their big sister. She could be Ginny Weasly very easily! LOL!

nifer- I think you are right. This may even beat the PSP! He was so excited when I told him. I think he is going to enjoy this coming year. Now we just need to aim for the 10th of May. He would be too extatic to have them born on his birthday as well. That would be a great b-day present for him, too!

Everyone else- Thanks! I am really excited and so is the family. My 8 year old daughter, while coming to terms with the idea of possibly not being mommy's baby girl anymore, she was excited to hear that she will still be mommy's baby girl. I had her by myself, as my ex and I had already separated, he wasn't a part of any of her life until recently, and so we are extremely close. My 14 yr. old was excited because of the whole Fred and George thing, and my 11 year old step daughter, is like my 8 year old, excited to still be daddy's girl. And well, we know the deal with my son! My husband I really think is excited. He has never raised a son before and now having 2 at once should prove to be interesting and lots of fun! I am excited and loving the idea of having my boys!

YEAH!!!! :itwins_boys: :wub: While the chances are slim for id twins, I will be excited to find out after they are born!

 

Congratulations on finding out about the two boys. My nephew wanted me to have two boys but unfortunately for him I am only able to give him one as the other one is a girl lol.
