The requisite diaper cream disaster

    So, we got a new washer and drier installed yesteday evening. The washer is an HE top-loader with a window (Maytag Bravos), so this morning when we did our inaugural wash, DH and I stood there mesmerized in the laundry room, watching our clothes spin around.

    Kevan and Karina were in the family room, and I should have *known* it was too quiet. Five minutes later, we walked in on this:

    Karina

    Kevan

    That's triple paste. Not just triple paste, but a new $17 jar of triple paste that was inside a tupperware container, and up on a 42-inch tall bar counter.

    Oy. DH had steam coming out of his ears, and couldn't believe I took pictures. I told him it would be funny at some point. And I kept thinking about Debid -- this is probably pretty tame compared to some of what her boys have done. [​IMG]

    Been there! My kids "finger painted" my kitchen cabinets (which are black) with diaper cream once. That stuff is seriously hard to clean up!

    Oh MY Goodness!! Yep, you know what they say....when the kids suddenly get quiet that spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!

    Oh yes....we have huge black spots on our carpet where the diaper cream didn't come out!

    :rofl: I would have pulled out the camera too!!!

    Oh my...that Hannah isn't going to be the same (cute outfit) but your couch will be baby's butt SMOOOOOOOTH!!!

    OH my! That was fantastic. I looked at the picture of Karina and thought 'well, that's not too bad' and then there was Kevan! And the couch!! Yikes. I'm glad you remembered to take pictures; your kids will love them some day.

    Hey! This has nothing to do with this thread. Sorry. But I just have to say that I LOVE your twins' names! I have a daughter named Crickett (we added a t so it's not spelled the same as the bug LOL!) It's such a cute name! I'm all excited to see someone else use it.
